About SpyHunter

SpyHunter is a malware remediation software designed for Windows and Mac users. Key features include multi-layer scanning, vulnerability detection, threat removal, custom scanning, and scan scheduling.

Teams using SpyHunter can selectively run individual scans of privacy issues (cookies), files, vulnerabilities, and memory, in addition to scanning their entire system. The application can detect keyloggers, malware, trojans, spyware, grayware, ransomware, viruses, adware, vulnerabilities, privacy issues, potentially unwanted programs, and unknown objects. SpyHunter for Mac offers a Startup Manager, which helps users configure their system's startup behaviors.

SpyHunter also allows organizations to run scans at a preset time at daily, weekly, and monthly intervals. Managers can use the quarantine area to review and restore objects that have been removed after detection. The solution is available on monthly subscriptions and support is extended via FAQs.

SpyHunter great tool for my computer's safity.

Overall I recommend SpyHunter for my friends and family, I am having a good experience with this software I will keep it on my device for a long time.

Pros:

What I like the most about this software is an easy way to eliminate any malware that I currently get on my computer, and is always on my Deskbar ready to use.

Cons:

Sometimes misses some malware on my computer and I feel there is not full-time protection.

Functionality and ease of use. It's very easy to run a general analysis, but has the flexibility to do more in depth analysis as well.

Free trips but good luck canceling

They make it obvious that the only way they will get your business is if you don’t take extraordinary effort to cancel. A quality product does not do this. If you want to cancel a quality product makes it easy because you would not need to cancel.

I like nothing about it. They would not load and support does not answer.

Cons:

They claim it is a feee trills but they are only interested to charge you the $42 for 3 months. $168 per year. They do NOT provide a cancellation option when you sun in to your account.

Good software. Needs more work

Overall it was good. The software works. It is not very demanding on the PC. Finds things that other anti-virus systems don't.

It is good software. It found stuff that my regular anti-virus software didn't BUT none of these things was actually a big problem. Mostly cookies, adware, and stuff like that. There are several nice and slick things about it.

Cons:

You can't scan a file individually. I was very surprised about this fact. I contacted support and they confirmed it. I am not willing to scan an entire partition in order to find out if a 5MB file is suspicious or not. Not sure why they didn't figure this would be an extremely useful feature but they didn't add it. I can easily do it with my main anti-virus suite. The price is high for what it offers. I decided to try it and see if there's anything fishy on my PC. There wasn't. Doesn't make sense to pay for 2 anti-virus systems or have them take up valuable PC resources.

My computer had slowed down due to so much malware, etc. I decide to give SpyHunter a go.

They wanted to charge me and I tried to leave the site. Up popped a "special" amount. I couldn't resist it.

Pros:

It scans daily and removes all ads and malware... I especially like that it removes the pesky PHP invaders. Those are harder to remove.

Cons:

It sometimes pops up when I don't want it to "scan". I'm just learning how to live with it and use settings.

Nothing. It wrecked my laptop.. luck I didn't install it on other computers...

Cons:

My computer doesn't boot to windows anymore brings me to the bios screen... got me a blue screen of death after installing and running... I highly recommend not installing this software...

Pros:

It didn't blow up the world. That's about the nicest thing I could say.

Cons:

It did NOTHING that it said that it did (for free). After waiting forever for the scan, it agreed to fix "privacy" issues for free, but insisted upon a substantial fee to fix the malware (which is NOT how it is advertised--"can fix this malware for FREE!!!"). So much of a waste of time I sought out this review page to help others.
