Small Team, High-quality Product, Attentive Customer Service at reasonable pricing

My overall experience has been exceptional, the EasyHOA guys are easy to talk to, attentive and responsive and the getting up and running process was basically painless. I am the HOA Treasurer and took over a year ago; I found that we struggled with retaining good and consistent financial and CC&R violation records especially when a board member changed to a new person. We struggled with follow-up but having everything on one place is solving those issues; I believe that in the long run our Board Members will be more involved and less stressed in doing the things the Board needs to do. I also believe that our Homeowners will be more involved with their community and board because of the transparency we are achieving through EasyHOA.

Pros:

We love that everything is in one place-financial, violations & requests. Once an invoice, violation or request is posted, it remains there--no more loosing paper. Being a self-managed volunteer HOA Board, everyone has their own busy life so we always have a problem with follow-up, EasyHOA is helping us because we can easily see what is due or what violation has been sent and needs follow-up. I love their customer service, they are very attentive and quick to respond. I also liked that we had one team member to help us with the set-up; not the call in and speak to the next available agent who didn't know us from Adam. Professionally I was a CFO and went through many software implementations in my career of which every one was a nightmare and required many individuals to implement; we had 2 people to get EasyHOA up and running and it was so easy and quick and to get people trained to use it. They are very good at trying to implement additional functions based on issues, questions or suggestions we have made.

Cons:

It would be nice to have the "Reports" section improved to allow more reports or the creation of our own reports and to be able to modify what is included in an existing report. It would be nice to have some feature to know or be reminded that a primary homeowners doesn't have email or telephone so we need to print & mail. I understand they are working on a feature to have roles within the Board members to limit what can be changed and by whom.

Reasons for choosing Easy HOA

I was looking for a software to help our 156 home self-managed HOA. I wanted something simple enough that all our Board members could and would use it but also wanted something robust enough to meet our financial and CC&R violation needs. Lastly I was hoping to find something that our HOA could afford. As an all volunteer Board, we really struggled with retaining good & consistent financial and CC&R violation records especially when a board member changed to a new person. I reviewed 6 software packages, some larger, longer established companies, EasyHOA is the only one that reached out to me the same day (One reached out to me 3 weeks after I contacted them-wonder what their customer service would be like). The software demo was easy to follow. I liked that the software was written for all aspects of HOA management and included so many features we didn't know we needed. The Sales Team gentleman was very personable and answered all my questions, I never felt rushed or like I was just hearing a sales pitch. After having a video call him, EasyHOA seemed like it would be a good fit for us; I didn't feel like I needed to view any other products.

Pros:

Our 8 unit self managed HOA signed up with EasyHOA in July 2025. There was definitely a learning curve in getting all our information loaded and all our old documents sorted and filed on the website. The support staff is very, very helpful and helped me every step of the way. No matter what my questions were, they answered them promptly and courteously. After using the system for several months, I find it easy to use. Being able to pay condo fees online has made life so much easier and faster for me as treasurer. I like that everything is documented and the handover to any future treasurer should be much simpler. I did investigate getting finance only management from local companies, but their quotes were hundreds of dollars a month to do essentially the same thing we are getting from EasyHOA for a much more reasonable cost. The website does offer other features, such as an up to date directory, tracking of repair requests, voting, surveys, and communicating within the website rather than your personal email inbox. I'm gradually trying to introduce these features as I think they will be beneficial.

Cons:

I do find the budget prep and end of year accounting a little inflexible. I would love to be able to issue an EOY treasurer report, but there is not a report for that yet. All the info is there, as all the expenses are categorized and tracked, but I had to do some manual charts to be able to sum it up in a simple form. I found a few issues in prepping the 2026 budget where items I archived in the chart of accounts were still showing on the new budget.

I valued the emphasis on customer service and the pricing was very fair. Many other products were really geared for bigger communities and had features that did not apply.

It’s okay, better than having nothing.

A bit disappointed, I didn’t know I was going to feel this way until after we had set up so many files and sold the neighborhood on it so I feel a little stuck with it to be honest.

The initial concept was my favorite part of EasyHOA. The customer service seems to be above average. Unfortunately, the customer service representatives can’t change or fix the system so we end up having polite conversations that really don’t go anywhere.

Cons:

The interface is slow, we understood the neighbors would have more access by interacting through the directory, the email and text services are not easy to access, the forms are annoying due to the fact that a owner must login to access them so they get recorded as a request.

Easy HOA, Made it Easy!

We are a new HOA and researched quite a few companies before choosing Easy HOA, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! They made the setup process quick and simple, and even added custom functions specifically for our needs. The best part is their customer service — they always answer the phone, respond quickly, and take the time to walk us through any questions without ever making us feel rushed or silly for calling. They also helped us seamlessly integrate the owner login tab directly into our existing website, which made things incredibly easy for our owners. Their pricing is extremely reasonable, especially for the level of personal service and support they provide. We highly recommend Easy HOA for any association looking for a reliable, responsive, and user-friendly management solution!

Customer service, cost, options, ease of use. Easy to access on all devices and multiple members can access at the same time.

Cons:

There has been a little bit of a learning curve for this software but they are more than helpful. I would have said a con was lack of tutorials, but I just found the help tab which walks you through the troubled areas easily.

Pros:

Homeowners have indicated it is easy to use. The system admins found it relatively easy to use and learn. The support topics and videos are great! Calling into support is also great! They are very pleasant and helpful. It is great value for the money. Online payment processing is easy to set up. The use of templates and the ability customize them is also a huge benefit. The app does everything we need from dues, violation, and request management.

Cons:

The reports are good but can be better. We are still working with the reports so we may not be fully aware of which will give us what we need.

Reasons for choosing Easy HOA

After the demo we found Easy HOA had easier to use functionality, gave us everything we needed, was secure and the cost was within our price range.

Just like the name Easy HOA...

Great experience, converting from QB to Easy HOA was very fast and we actually were up and running weeks before we anticipated.

The ease of use and visibility to home owners. Was able to get all home owners entered and properties seperately, so no history is lost.

Cons:

Not an easy way to print past due statements, yes one by one can be sent. Would be nice if it would automatically send reminders out monthly on past dues.

Our HOA system was an excel spreadsheet. Easy HOA team was with us all the way during the conversion. The first time we ran the financials the entire team was ecstatic over the features - and it was EASY. I especially like the delinquent payment Invoicing -which saved hours of manual work. It is simple to use and very affordable for all this software offers. And, the secure data storage is fantastic.

Cons:

There was no interface to directly capture Zell payments. Would like a simpler voting and/or approval process

It is integrated with HOA contacts/email and provides great functionality for invoicing. Reporting provides good information, but I am still trying to understand fees.

Cons:

Navigation is still a challenge. For example, updating fee types for additional fees took multiple trial/error attempts.

Love EasyHOA!!!

Excellent! Saved our HOA thousands. Rarely, if ever, need law services. They even make filing taxes efficient and easy!

Cons:

I have not come across any major issues, but the introductory video and or package could be longer and more detailed.
