Best online giving platform on the market!

My experience has been wonderful from day one. The customer support is fantastic and Vanco continues to make adjustments that allow quick turnover time with troubleshooting any issue we have. It makes a huge different when you work with someone that is full of knowledge and knows how to best guide you. I can tell everyone at Vanco is passionate about their work and want us to feel like we are their only customer. Very impressive!

Pros:

The tile system is fantastic. It allows us to create a custom look to our funds that makes it easy for our donors to identify the correct one. The checkout process takes less than a minute, even if you are a first-time user.

Cons:

Editing current gifts because it doesn't automatically add the credit card offset fee, so people get confused with that. This issue is in the process of being fixed.

Positive Experience using Vanco for Electronic Giving

The customer service has been excellent, helping us solve any questions or issues as they arise for us or our congregants. There are also lots of tutorials to help. We are happy entrusting our electronic payments to them and recommend them to anyone searching for an option.

Pros:

Vanco has made it easy for us to securely accept card payments for regular donations as well as fundraisers and special events and most of our congregants feel confident about electronic giving. They have recently made the version seen by our congregants much more user-friendly and the design is much improved.

Cons:

We would like a way to integrate QR codes with our electronic giving options to make navigating to the webpage easier. The administrator version is older and not as user-friendly, can take a while to figure it out.

Pros:

It does what it's marketed to do! We were able to accept donations from all over the country, even outside the US. We could manage when and how often people gave. If we wanted to put an end date on someones giving, we could do it with ease!

Cons:

The problem is that Vanco would sometimes mess up automatic withdrawals. I don't know if it happens often in this business, but we had donors being double charged. They were able to fix it quickly though!

Pros:

The Vanco online system was easy to set up and easy to run. It is a great value for the money. Our parishioners find that it is easy to use and payment processing is very timely.

Cons:

Since we set it up there are hardly any issues. Sometimes a report is not sent to my email and I have to go online and find it; but that is very easy to do and hardly ever occurs.

Pros:

It was easy for our congregation to use. Even the older members who are not so up on the latest technology.

Cons:

Nothing really. The set up is easy. Vanco makes the process great. I mean, fees, maybe. But everyone is gathering fees.

We are so glad we found Vanco!

Vanco was able to show us that our church and school could utilize online payments without costing monies we were trying to raise. Their fees are resonable and our donors are willing to consider the processing fee as part of their giving. Seriously our monthly fee for the company is pennies!!!

My favorite thing about Vanco is that I've never had an issue or a worry about our online giving since we began with the company! Their processes are logical, the system and reports are easy to follow, easy to adapt to my own bookkeeping system and very affordable!

Cons:

Vanco was not the first company we used for online giving so I can honestly say that, especially in comparison to the companies before them, we are very happy and I don't have a least favorite point with Vanco.

Online Donations Works Well

We started using Vanco in Jan of 2020 just before the height of covid which was a blessing. Being able to accept donations through debit/credit/ACH online has worked well with our church.

Pros:

Vanco syncs with the software that we use for donations and accounting (Church Windows) which make it easy to transfer into our accounting program. It was easy to set-up. Reports are easy to look up. Anytime I have had questions, customer service has been friendly and helpful.

Cons:

1. It can be expensive. The fees really add up. 2. The app does not work at all. Every church service several members would come and tell me the problems they had with the app. In theory, it's a great idea but a nightmare to work with.

Vanco Faith is so easy to use. The customer support which I have rarely needed has been excellent. It is our most reliable source of income and not dependent on church attendance. We have over 20 funds our members can utilize on Vanco to support the work of our church

Pros:

The customer service at Vanco is excellent. We've used Vanco for online donations for over 10 years and they are always helpful when we have questions. They are quick to respond and helpful in resolving any questions we have.

Cons:

For online giving, we have several funds that people can give to. Each giving option has a "tile" that shows on the online giving page. I wish we had the option of making these tiles smaller so that each one wouldn't take up so much room on the giving page.
