Pros:
We don't charge for parking, but needed a way to assign spaces more easily and to maximize use. Parkalot did that for us the best out of the other apps we investigated.
Cons:
They are really good...so not much. It would be nice to have 2 emails receive notifications instead of just one.

Reasons for choosing Parkalot

The other apps were more for charging users and there was not a way to assign permanent spaces. The price point also worked best for us.

Great Experience with Park-a-Lot at Everton Park!

Overall, it’s made parking at work so much easier. It’s great knowing you’ve got a spot sorted before you even leave the house—definitely takes the stress out of the morning. Would definitely recommend it for any office with shared or limited parking. They also provide a comprehensive app training to the app admin before commencement.

Our office has been using the Park-a-Lot booking system at our Everton Park office since November 2024, and honestly, it’s been a great help—especially with the tandem parking setup we have and the summary report of carpark usage. The platform is really easy to use, and booking a spot only takes a few clicks. What I really like is how it handles the tandem bays. Both people sharing the spot has a feature for tandem convo, so there’s no confusion about who's where or when. It just makes the whole process smooth and hassle-free.
Cons:
Honestly, none. I am still exploring the app as its admin at the same time user. Definitely there's to improve, but it serves the purpose of what we need for now.

It is very easy to look for the spaces to book and to see what is free or not, seeing also the time of other people booked to have more people booked in one day.
Cons:
The selection for the time is not nice to select and not very intuitive. This could be presented in a better way more user friendly.

How to manage shared parking spaces with ease

What may seem like an easy task like parking management is quite time consumng and so Parkalot takes the simplifies this.
Cons:
Some features could be added. As we use shared parking spots, the ability to add in photos of the car parking spaces would be great as some car park spaces are not clearly numbered.

I don't love it but i like it

Overall i am happy with Parkalot but i would prefer it if the text was larger and if the bot was more responsive and could assign alternative spaces quickly.

Parkalot is easy to use and i like the app. It's very convenient having the app on my phone. Its very easy to use.
Cons:
I think that Parkalot could be improved if the text, as it displays on the app, was larger. And sometimes it takes a long time to get a response when reporting that someone has parked in my space. Often i don't get a reply and an alternative space.

About being reassigned a space when somebody takes your reserved spot - when you report an incident, there is no bot that takes care of that - it's your car park administrator so we're afraid we can't directly help here. Visible (parking places, time zones) and flexible - waitlist is working very well as well, I always got parkingplace when I used it.
Cons:
Sometimes it was closed on my phone and I could not open it easily. When I tried to open again it was not clear which ID and PW to use.

Maximising Parking Capacity

Using Parkalot has improved how we manage our parking spaces. The Parkalot platform is easy to use from an administrator's perspective, while also offering an easy to use and flexible system for employees to book, cancel, and manage their own reservations. Due to limited availability, we needed a solution which assigns spaces efficiently while maximising capacity. Both the product and the collaborative team at Parkalot have enabled us to elevate the employee experience at our head office.

Easy to use, simple and intuitive UI interface, has not crashed on me (so far). Works and operates as expected.
Cons:
It would be good to see who has reserved a particular spot, listing the person's name with the parking spot. Also, maybe option to show more available spots on the screen to make it easy to navigate on the go, instead of having to scroll further to see available spots.

The booking ist easy and user friendly and parkalot is easy to use for admins also. High value of money, since it has solved a problem by reducing administrative input.
Cons:
Sometimes you get error messages, but if you try again seconds later it works. The set up at the beginning involved a lot of work.
