Timecloud is a fully automated time & attendance, biometric time clock, and staff rostering platform. Timecloud biometric scanners provide a seamless clock in/out experience for employees. Whether you choose a face, palm, or fingerprint scanner, all terminals will send accurate, real-time information directly to your management account.

Our time and attendance mobile app provides both user and admin functionality. Users on or off-site can track their hours with the push of a button. Good solution for Biometric time recording

Okay experience. Has taken a lot of invested time to understand the system and get it implemented - Months when we thought it might be weeks, but now at a point where its working relatively smoothly. Too early to tell if we are making savings (compared to old system of employee input timesheets), but that wasn't the big intention for us. We wanted something that make our overall processes easier (for employees, reviewers and payroll), and early indications are this is a bit easier. Their support team has been great through the process.

Pros:

Does what it says on the packet - Records in and out time for employees. Gives us confidence we are correctly paying our staff.

Cons:

Would like CSV outputs to be a lot cleaner than they are for external analysis. The Palm / Fingerprint scanner is good, but not great. 1 or 2 times a week we are getting someone's time entry recorded against someone else (perhaps 0.5% of entries). Lots of tiny little bugs that can add up. But on the flipside the support team is easy to get in touch with and quick to get things sorted.

Excellent Timesheet Platform

Overall experience is great, good feedback not only from payroll officer but also from our site employees. [sensitive content hidden] from Timecloud has provided excellent customer service through the setup, testing and after-sale process.

Easy to use, layout/user interface is excellent (compared to other Timesheet software), and also customisable to suit Australian payroll environment

Cons:

As our business is growing we may need more functionality to suit our needs, hope Timecloud to have more functions in the near future.

Reasons for choosing Timecloud

In addition to Employment Hero and Deputy, there are other alternative products I've tried. But TimeCloud has better user interface, easier to setup and use, and more flexible to customise. I believe that, although you can get use to a certain software after a while, but a good software like TimeCloud will always have good user interface at first time use - on the other words, if a software can't make it clear and easy enough to use, why should I trust the development team that they are caring about customer?

Reasons for switching to Timecloud

We were actually using Onsite Connect, but unable to find from the list. TimeCloud is way much better user interface, much easy to use, more functions, able to integrate to Xero

it would be good to set my own parameters when running reports. rather then running a report only for a period, but select my dates.

Cons:

it should be mandatory that the team add a cost centre, they should be unable to change to OUT status if not Cost centre has been selected.

Reasons for switching to Timecloud

The shift function. so the team can sign in early and sign out late and the system only clocks the shift hours. not 8.32 hours worked. with 0.32 O.T payable when they spent the first 15mins of the "signed in time" yacking around the work truck.

Pros:

TimeCloud has streamlined our payroll process with ease. It has provided in depth job costing reporting, has eliminated any manual timesheet entering by having the app available to staff to clock in and out at any time. It has given us greater visbility over employee hours, enabling us to manage lateness with available reports. It has greatly reduced our admin hours in processing payroll.

Cons:

There has not been any negatives, the support team have been fantastic working out any implementation problems.

Reasons for switching to Timecloud

We had a fingerprint scanner that did not work half of the time, we always had issues with data not imprting, and if the workplace was shut when the employee finished their shift after hours they could not clock off.

It was super easy to implement and has made time tracking a breeze. For a company that manages so many projects, we really needed a comprehensive solution to eliminate the need for multiple other software subscriptions AND save a lot in the process. We couldn't be happier!

Cons:

It's a smaller company, so the software is not as 'slick' as some other big players out there, but the functionality is incredible, and so well suited to (I'm sure) many other businesses that would usually opt for a bigger provider.

Timecloud provides a clear, accessible interface that’s designed for everyday usability—helping staff jump in with minimal training and reducing reliance on spreadsheets. Timecloud lets you define and update pay structures and rules—such as wage rates, shift loadings, allowances, and overtime thresholds—directly within the platform. This empowers you to self-manage award changes and ensure the system is always compliant.

Cons:

some of the limitations when it comes to rounding's for start time. would be good to add more personal details and reminders for staff for example Birthdays, Work Anniversary, training reminders

Pros:

I like the simplicity of the Time & Attendance, there is also options to allow shift limits for staff hours. Pulling out total hours for each employee is also super easy.

Cons:

When allocating 'sick, annual leave' etc it automatically adds on the hours instead of leaving as is.
