About Sentinel

Sentinel is a flexible print management software that is suitable for businesses of all sizes across any vertical and can be customized to suit any organization's printing, copying and scanning needs. The key features of the solution include pull printing, secure scanning and centralized print management.

Additionally, Sentinel offers guest printing, print and billing quotas, load balancing, rule-based printing and print reporting to manage all aspects of organizational print management and provide insight into usage. It provides a scalable solution that can grow alongside businesses to continue meeting their needs at different levels. The solution also includes bring your own device (BYOD) support allowing users to send print jobs directly from their own smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Sentinel can be combined with NCF tags or QR codes for secure print job release through users' mobile devices, and add-on print release controller devices. The software is licensed on a per-server basis and support is extended via email and TeamViewer.

Pros:

Sentinel Support scripting language that enables end user to customize the software and fit their requirements and add any new feature to the system without going back to the developers, the sky is the limit. this doesn't exist anywhere.

Cons:

Sentinel is one stop chop, it fits all my requirements in one product, Pull Printing, Printing management, Printer management can counter collection. Form Design, XML to Dynamic Forms, Toner Save, DLP, OCR and archiving, unseen secure elements on the printed page , electronic signature, document management system including distributing, signing and archiving. and more and more
