A practical helper for ISP Administration, easy management of legal restrictions and security

We have been using it for a long time and we are satisfied with our commitment. Minimal repairs and interventions, everything is working as it should be.

Pros:

Quite practical and easy to use. There is no need to set up in any complicated way and everything works as it should. Good technical support.

Cons:

It is not possible to deploy both primary and secondary DNS domains under one vendor. Then it would also depend on the price how much the DNS would cost.

Easy-to-use, Easy-to-deploy, with great Customer Service

Easy onboarding process and fast implementation. We are able to see what threats/security incidents were detected and stopped in dashboards and reports, which is very useful.

Pros:

It was easy to get started and we got all the help we needed. We needed a cybersecurity solution that would protect our network and users on it. At the same time we didn’t want our users to download anything and be protected automatically - Whalebone was only solution to tick all the boxes.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind. The point of Whalebone for us was to be protected at all time without worrying about anything and so far it’s been just like that.

Great DNS Security Product with a Proactive Team

I like the white-label option, basically nobody in our network even knows we are using Whalebone to keep everyone safe.

Pros:

Great features like content moderation, parental lock etc. that we can also offer clients. It was easy to set up, is easy to use and even easier to manage. This solution helps keep our network safe and every user on it.

Cons:

No cons. We are very happy with Whalebone. They continue improving the product periodically.

API and Integration

Best benefit of using Whalebone on our network is that we are able to prevent many of phishing attacks on our end users and keep them better secured. Also, we have via webhooks immediate response on every fishy traffic on our DNS resolvers.

Pros:

I thought only very large or very expensive DNS solutions would handle malware DNS entries and neutralise them - whalebone proved me wrong. Excellent solution.

Cons:

None, to be honest. it worked straight out of the box for us. We built four resolvers and placed these around our network - and it all worked.
