About TeamKeeper

TeamKeeper (formerly Clockwise) is a time and attendance solution suitable for companies of all sizes in sectors such as legal, accounting, consulting, staffing and professional organizations. Key features include time and attendance tracking, mobile apps, leave management, pay stub management and HR tools.

TeamKeeper time clocks support multiple inputs such as biometric, pin codes, card swipes and proximity. Users can log time on desktop devices or through the TeamKeeper mobile app, and entries can include data on jobs, projects and tasks. Automatic overtime, multi-tiered approvals, percentage allocations and email alerts are also included.

Leave management tools include pre-populated holiday calendars, and supported leave types include accrual-based, earned and flat leave. Employees can also access digital pay stubs and W2s. Integrations include Quickbooks, ADP, Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics, Millenium, Paychex, Peachtree, Sage Product Line, Tyler Technologies and more. The solution is DCAA compliant.

Support is offered via email and over the phone. Pricing is per user per month.

Superb tracking of time sheets

We export all of out time keeping data to QuickBooks. This is a wonderful tool that makes the transfer of data amazingly simple. Since we support Government contracts, this timekeeping software meets all the needs set on us by the FAR. We are very happy that we have this tool available for us.

Pros:

The is software is super easy to use. Our employees log in to record their hours, request time off, and supervisors approve time sheets. All of it is very easy to understand and accomplish. The Administrative side is easy to set-up and make changes to. Clockwise support staff is quick to respond to our problems and assist as needed.

Cons:

The app still is not very user-friendly.

It's helpful if you have a rotating staff or need to manage front desk, cleaning crews, or part-time support at different locations. The scheduling tools are easy to use, and the automated timesheets help reduce manual tracking

Cons:

it doesn’t support things like room booking, customer communication, or tenant coordination — which are key in a shared workspace.

Easy program to use

Overall I really thought Clockwise was user friendly and pretty self-explanatory. It was easy to add new program codes in. The reports function was easy to use and understand and were able to manipulate to the dates you needed easily. Our staff easily learned how to use it with minimal help.

What I really liked is that for our organization you can easily keep track of your hours in the top of the timesheet but down below charge it out to multiple programs easily. I also really liked that mileage could be charged out in the timesheet and exported into a spreadsheet for import into our payroll system. There was even a spot to upload the mileage sheets so our backup was all right there in the timesheet.

Cons:

At setup finding the right formatting of a CSV or .text file that would format to import into our accounting system was a little challenge. There was no way that the export would come out perfect so we did have to do a little formatting for the imports to accounting and imports of leave and paystubs worked going back into Clockwise, but within a couple weeks it was all up and running smoothly with minimal formatting needed. I wish that even though the timesheets were bi-weekly that it would have totaled each week up for us, that would have made life easier to figure out OT.

We felt for the price they offered what we needed and liked the way the timesheets were laid out.

TimeClock Plus was not giving us report options that we needed for auditing or allowing us to allocate hours the way we needed it to

Great product that has everything we need

Great experience with Clockwise and we look forward to being a customer of theirs, and growing with them, for a long time.

Pros:

Clockwise is very easy to use both as a user and as an administrator. As a small company we wanted a timekeeping solution that would fit within our budget and Clockwise has all the capabilities we need. The BEST part about this solutions is the customer service. We have added a few custom touches, such as reports for our employees to run and our own domain, and they have been more than helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend all around.

Cons:

There are few cons, but as an administrator the interface is a little repetitive having the same options in multiple places. The biggest con is the appearance. We definitely prefer function over fashion, but it could be a little prettier for the end user/employees.

Reasons for choosing TeamKeeper

Way more cost effective and simple. It does not add on services we do not use or need.

Reasons for switching to TeamKeeper

It was not DCAA compliant.

I used to manually enter program and hours from an Excel time sheet into GMS and then process payroll. By using Clockwise I could just import the timesheets
