Pros:
This is the must have platform if you work with animals. You have different packages to choose from and you have payroll options etc available for you 24/7 you dont have to worry about appointments since you will automatically receive reminders for you upcoming events
Cons:
No cons about this platform, it's easy to use. Easy to set payroll and no more long nights typing numbers down this does it al for you

It is the first software I use in my business and sometimes I have thought about changing it for all the reasons mentioned before.

In general, it is considered a good software for dog grooming, but its simplicity makes it inefficient for businesses that require extensive control over clients, sales reports, and management of expenses and inventory. Also, having to work directly from the web is a bit cumbersome, and from my experience, it is preferable to work with a desktop application. ...

Pros:
very simple and easy to use software. Among the most significant advantages are reminder messages, although these cause confusion for customers since messages are sent to the same numbers and they get annoyed because they do not receive a response, so it would be very helpful if they fix that.
Cons:
it does not have the option to add client forms in PDF to archive them for each client and this is something very important since we must have a record of client consents and these must remain in the record of each client. The payment gateway only works with certain point of sale systems, which limits its use.

Reasons for choosing DaySmart Pet

I still think about switching to a desktop application or software that allows me to manage my business better unless they make new updates in Daysmart.

After 10 years as a client the first 8 years were great, the last couple of years have resulted continuous glitches and often having the software not working which is blamed on your cell service.

When properly working the software is geared for mobile grooming.
Cons:
Too many clicks to perform a simple task. Recent changes have made the software extremely unreliable and customer service (no live phone poodle anymore only email or chat that is returned their convenience) simply says “we are working on it”.

The software is excellent for Grooming services Salons, but it has some minor flaws. The built- in POS system is a must. I love the all-in-one software system and straight to the point . You get text service, pos, booking system , and marketing .
Cons:
Also, you have to do online support through a chat service, not a person . The system does not recognize the same info from clients, so multiple files have too be merged manually.

8 years of great service! DaySmart helps me make ALOT of grooming $$$

We are a small Mobile Dog Grooming company with only 4 employees. We have been with DaySmart (used to be Pet123) since 2017. I've only had two major issues that I really had to raise cain about during all that time. One being my Buisness Website was down recently. I emailed them on Monday. The same day- John (CFO) responded and by Tuesday Emily (SVP) had let me know the problem had been fixed. Refunded me the time my site was down and made sure I was satisfied with the results. No company is perfect. But this company fulfills all my Mobile APP needs and work with me to fix any issues..... and thats why I stay.

That I can use the app on my phones AND my laptop. User Friendly. All the different kinds of Reports that I can run to see where things are going well and where they arent. Automated reminders to my Clients so we have less "no shows". Very rarely is the system down. If I do have a problem -Customer support text doesnt have to take me all day. They understand I have to get back to work and will leave the text up in the app ( so I can check between dogs and respond) and send answers till I am satisfyed with the help and the problem is solved.
Cons:
I don't like that Customer Support went to an automated Bot system. That can be super frustrating when you just need to talk to a HUMAN to get answers. However, I have learned that you can request a person and one will call or text you back.

The simplicity and straightforward nature of the software makes it easy to navigate. I appreciate the ease of workflow which allows my employees to handle customers swiftly and easily!
Cons:
DaySmart unfortunately seems to have relatively frequent outages or service interruptions for a variety of reasons. I cannot say for sure these are DaySmart specific though as opposed to more major outages trickling down to DaySmart.

Because Gingr had consistent holes in their programming and terrible customer service

We have had a great experience with Daysmart overall--it greatly improved booking efficiency in our salon and helped us eliminate double bookings and decrease the amount of missed appointments we were experiencing.

We love how easy it is to use and find information on all of our clients!
Cons:
We would love a feature that would tell us our next available 1 hr apt, 2 hr, apt, and weekend appointment. It would make running our business even easier! We would also love a better wait list design--we often have a large waitlist and the set up of the current wait list function does not work for our set up.

We talked with other people in our industry and everyone had a good experience with it and we liked the pricing.

Reasons for switching to DaySmart Pet

We actually used StoreVantage and it was terrible and would go down all the time, we would have to schedule appointments by hand and we had double bookings happen constantly. It didn't do enough things for us to help us run our salon.

What I like most about DaySmart Pet is the way it streamlines both pet and client management, while also offering an intuitive calendar and scheduling system. These features make it easy to stay organized, save time, and ensure that appointments run smoothly.
Cons:
Cons: One drawback I experienced with DaySmart Pet is the additional fee required for messaging. Unfortunately, I was not reimbursed for the year that the messaging feature was unavailable, which felt like a loss of value. In addition, I’ve noticed that other grooming software offers the ability to calculate pay with both state and federal taxes included, a feature that is currently missing from my account. I believe this would be a valuable improvement and update. Overall, I feel it would add fairness and value to the service if a refund or credit were provided for the time the messaging feature was unavailable.

Our company has been with Daysmart Pet for nearly 5 years. We are very happy with the service provided and the ease of use and efficiency with the software. It has helped us immensely manage our very busy schedule. All of the techs I've worked with at DSP have always gone above and beyond to ensure the most positive customer experience! In fact, recently they've implemented live phone calls support (instead of just the live chat) which has been extremely helpful when trying to tackle technical questions or issues. I cannot say enough good things about DSP!
Cons:
I was glad to see DSP implement live support!! I would like to see minor modifications to the software such as including the year of the appt as we are already booking into 2027! Also I would like to see alternative email campaigns that can be only sent to active customers. Lastly, I would like to see the reminder services available to also send to customers 14 days before the appt date instead of just 7 days.
