Deputy vs RotaCloud: Which is best for you?

I've used Deputy in multiple organisations in restaurants, events and education settings over many years and it has always been pretty reliable, though I don't think it developed as quickly as other similar software packages and started to lag behind a bit.

When employee enters a punch that overlaps with a time off request, the kiosk doesn't log the punch or notify the employee that there is an issue.

I was sceptical at first, always used an excel document for holiday and rota but I'm so pleased we moved to Rotacloud it has reduced my workload and makes it easy for staff to be informed of changes to their working shifts without the need for me to email separately.

The only downside is that it doesn't link in to our Outlook calendars in quite the way we would like, or our HR system which could then automatically input holidays.
