Pros:

I access my computers as well as friends and family from all over the world. I get a bundle package that is economical per computer and allows me to group them based on the different groups I am helping.

Cons:

If they were going to improve it, I would like a way to stay connected for a set amount of time and a set amount of time since last activity.

So much better than TeamViewer

Honestly, Dualmon has been wonderful. Almost too good to be true compared to what we've had to deal with in the past. I like that the pricing is stable, transparent and flexible for when adding on additional computers beyond the current limit. We use it for training and assisting other staff members. Staff uses it to remote into their remote computer when working from home.

Pros:

The cost, I like how easy it is to deploy on new computers, how easy it is to add/remove users, the reporting capabilities, the drama free updates, the reliable connectivity, and more.

Cons:

Even though the connection bar at the top can be moved to the left or right, it can be a little bulky and in the way at times. If it can be made into something much much smaller when in full screen mode, that would be great! Also, it hasn't happened recently, but in the past, file transferring would fail at the point where it's supposed to allow me to select where to place the file on the remote computer.

Reasons for switching to dualmon

We previously used Teamviewer, and I use Chrome Remote Desktop as well. Chrome RD is free, but it is tied to my Google account and therefore can't be shared with other team members. Teamviewer misled us about lifetime purchases, etc, and each upgrade required a whole new payout. Overall, it was a very heavy handed, unpleasant and frustrating experience. We were frequently unable to connect for various reasons from needing to update, or the remote computer needing to be updated, or needing to upgrade or license, other random reasons that are now thankfully a blur as we've been with dualmon for over 5 years now!

The ability to use dual monitors on separate screens makes this a deal killer for us to use as an every day option. It also runs considerably slower than its more expensive competitors

Unattended Access has proven to be as reliable, if not more so, than the leading competitors. The ability to cobrand and offer support to my clients through my website presents a professional look.

Cons:

Remote file transfer seems to be dependent upon which windows account the remote computer is operting under.

Dualmon is much more afforable while being equally reliable and effective at both unattended access and remote support.

Cons:

There have been no problems with the software, only if it had remote support on Android it would be fabulous.
