Simple and effective rental management

Overall, our experience with Booqable has been very positive. It has helped us save time, reduce errors, and manage our rental operations more efficiently as we grow. Pros:

What I like most about Booqable is how visual and intuitive it is. It has completely changed the way we manage inventory, availability, and bookings for our event rental business. Seeing availability by date makes it very easy to avoid double bookings, and creating quotes and reservations feels simple and professional. It has helped us stay organized and present a much more polished experience to our clients. Customer support has also been great. Whenever we’ve had questions or needed help, the team has been responsive and clear, which is extremely valuable when you’re running day-to-day operations.

Cons:

One thing we would like to see improved is the variety of payment providers. Currently, payments are limited mainly to Stripe and PayPal, and it would be very helpful to have more options that work in other countries, especially for international businesses. Another area for improvement is bundles. We use bundles often, and it would be ideal if bundles could display only the total bundle price, without showing the individual prices of each item included. This would make bundles cleaner and better aligned with how packages are usually sold.

We chose Booqable because it was more intuitive and visually clear than the other options we evaluated. Many alternatives felt either too complex or not well suited for an event rental business. Booqable offered a good balance between powerful inventory management and ease of use, which was important for our team. We also liked that it allowed us to manage availability by date, create professional quotes and bookings, and present a cleaner experience to our clients without needing heavy customization or technical setup. Overall, it felt like the most practical and scalable solution for our needs.

Simple, Efficient, and Perfect for Creative people

Overall, this is a great tool for creative people like me. It turns boring administrative work into something enjoyable and efficient.

Pros:

This program is very easy to work with and I have had very good experiences using it. As an entrepreneur, I want to be able to generate quotes quickly and in a simple way, and this software gives me exactly that possibility. Of course, there are other programs that can do the same, but they are often quite complicated and mainly designed for accountants or administrative staff. Those systems tend to be slow, overly complex, and not very user-friendly for creative entrepreneurs.

Cons:

If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the program is not connected to Peppol yet. This integration would be very useful, especially since it is now mandatory in Belgium due to government regulations.

Using Booqable as non profit educational institution.

I have implemented Booqable booking systems now in two schools i work in, and everybody praises how easy it is to make reservations! Overall Booqable has helped our school to finally start keeping track of all the equipment that is being given out to students. Before that we were using google spreadsheets and it was a nightmare. Finally we are able to track gear reliably.

Pros:

Booqable staff are very communicative and usually respond almost right away! Usually when we suggest some features, they actually look into it! Their user interface is very self explanitory and easy to use/understand. The booking page / web builder is amazing, and offers plenty of room for customisation.

Cons:

What bothers us as a non-profit org. is that booqable recently has moved some subscription plan features around, and the cheapest subscription plan covers only one staff member. For us (film school) it is not very practical (we have 2 staff members responsible for the equipment), and also, the option to bundle inventory items into kits (bundles) is not available, witch can be a very inefficient way to handle film equipment. There have been some times booqable gliches out in the far past (few years ago), but not recently. Ofcourse there always are some little ergonomic things in the interface that could be improved, like the option to choose what the bookings calendar shows first, or a "x" button that clears the search bar in calendar bookings view (that would help to speed up the workflow), but those are nitpicks.

Mainly price, and ease of use. Also Rentman for us was too big and also very focused on the money side of things (we, as non profit org. like that it is possible to disable pricing in Booqable)

Booqable is so easy to navigate!

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with booqable. I have been using this platform for about a year and a half now. Anytime I have a question or concern, someone is always quick to answer me back. Love how professional it makes my business seem to the consumer. And overall easy to navigate.

Booqable is easy for my customers to navigate, I tell them “it’s literally like shopping on Amazon”. I love that I don’t have to take record of anything myself. Booqable tracks everything for me. Another feature I absolutely love is that I’m able to take payment from the mobile app. I spend 90% of my time on my phone rather than computer so it makes it very easy and flexible while I’m on the field. Lastly, I appreciate how they are always trying to find ways to improve and keeping us updated by emailing everyone there is a change.

Cons:

Booqable was a little confusing and intimidating at first. I did one on one sessions with I believe his name was Rafael, and he was able to show me step by step on where everything was.

Reasons for switching to Booqable

I wanted a platform that tracked all my sales and customers were able to book on their own.

The best solution for a online rental start-up

Everything really fine, every time I needed assistance and suggestions I found open doors and willing to help. I believe their Team is the real extra vaklue they offer.

It's the most cost effective solution for starting an online rental business. I analysed deeply the offers on the market, tried several platforms and solutions, but at the end, Bookable resulted the most effective, scalable and affrordable.

Cons:

Just, the extra cost for any location addendum. Actually they helped me with this issue, because the peculiarity of my project, but in order to plan for scalable developments, this could be a little discouraging.

Excellent for kit hire bookings!

We couldn't manage our kit bookings without it. I would definitely recommend it. We've been using Booqable for years with literally no issues.

This is a fantastic tool for managing our internal filming equipment rental. You can adjust pricing, get quotes, manage stock etc etc.

Cons:

No complaints at all. I guess the interface could we a little sleaker but really I don't have any problems with Booqable.

Booqable: A balanced option for rental companies.

It has been a super pleasurable experience. I don’t think it has been used directly by anybody customer’s yet but the SEO tools in the website builder and back end scheduling and document/email tools are beneficial.

I like having as much control as it gives me compared to other similar products that manage rentals and create websites. The pricing is fairly reasonable for what you get. The support team is very responsive and helpful and the AI assistant can also help you solve a lot of problems. Even without support, the software is pretty easy to figure out.

Cons:

I would love to see some additional customization options with the website designer. I think being able to access some more advanced API tools would allow you to create some sleeker websites. When you browse some of the example sites that Booqable features I think many of them are just integrating the booking software into a custom designed website hosted and designed off of Booqable.

Its very smooth and really quick for a user to make a booking. Whats useful is also it makes my job assomeone who rent out the bikes very easy to manage which is the main reason I started the subscription. The app is also is very usefull for notification.

Cons:

Not being able to put the picture i want as it does not fit in the ratio of pixel required for it to automatically resize it. The picture does not show properly to customers.
