About FieldStack
FieldStack is a cloud-based retail management solution that helps midsize to large retailers streamline processes related to point-of-sale, eCommerce, inventory management, customer loyalty programs and more on a centralized platform. It helps users create customizable eCommerce websites with Buy Online, Pick-Up in Store (BOPIS) to improve sales.
FieldStack allows enterprises to retrieve product information from the database using search functionality, manage credit card transactions and handle back-office operations. It lets users send newsletters to clients via email, create loyalty programs, manage promotions and enhance customer engagement through gamification capabilities. Additionally, supervisors can gain visibility into retail operations and visualize data on an administrative dashboard.
FieldStack helps supervisors export reports in Microsoft Excel format and configure role-based access across employees to prevent unauthorized data exploitation. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via phone, documentation and other online measures.

FieldStack Transforms Business at The Natural Dog

Overall, our experience with FieldStack has been excellent. In many ways, we have been able to improve our business practices. We have resources to compete with major competitors now which could not be achieved with our previous POS system or any other POS systems we had considered prior to implementation. I am excited to find how much more successful we can become using FieldStack.

Special Orders in FieldStack

Simply said, the work we are doing has been cut in half. The time it takes us to complete tasks has been cut in half. We are still working out the bugs and figuring out a good system for special orders with FieldStack, but in general the work load has been lifted.

I have had great success with FS. I do think that with certain things, like layaways, you have to pay close attention to what you are doing and I feel that is where some other people have a problem with the system, but I enjoy it and have had very little "issues" with it on a whole. There is great communication with the office and they are able to get us answers relatively quickly when needed. I think if questions continued to be asked and tweaks are made and processes are followed correctly and the same as others then it will be a great system for us.

I am not impressed. I would think a POS system would be able to be adjusted to compliment the store using it. Not every store operates the same, so I cannot imagine their POS should be the same. I am thankfully young/tech savvy enough that I am now used to it, but older employees will always be in Retail stores.

Other than how lean and streamlined the software is, the thing that stands out the most about FieldStack is the knowledgeable and helpful team of people in Portland, Maine that have consistently worked alongside us to not only make the transition smooth, but to customize as many aspects as possible to the way we do business in an effort to make The Natural Dog successful in our mission. We know a little about customer service and the level of service and attention we receive from FieldStack is top-notch. In general, I feel it is an improvement on the retail end over the last system we used. It is fast and efficient; user friendly to those who possess basic computer skills (some of our older cashiers struggle as they don't understand copy/paste etc); I like all the potential it seems to have, but I do feel at times like we are "Beta Testers" as our processes are constantly changing (for the better), though I do generally enjoy the program and what it has to offer as a great customer service tool.
