About Scalefusion

Scalefusion is a solution that helps businesses manage and control content on corporate devices in lockdown kiosk mode. Key features include wireless internet access, usage reporting, secure browsing, onsite printing, digital signature and touch screen support.

Designed for businesses of all sizes, Scalefusion’s Kiosk Browser allows users to manage application access and restrict customers to specific websites. Its browser lockdown module enables enterprises to whitelist websites, remotely clear caches and control user access to various device peripherals such as audio, camera, Bluetooth, airplane mode and more. Additionally, the digital signage application allows firms to manage content using various presentation tools such as landscape, loop, time interval and multiple file formats.

Scalefusion can either be deployed on-premise or hosted in the cloud. It is available on a monthly subscription and support is extended via documentation, phone, email and an online help desk.

Pros:

All the features offered are extensive across operating systems and devices. The solution itself isn’t too complicated. The dashboard UI is nice. To top it all, the tech support is as good as it can get.

Cons:

It’s a UEM solution but doesn’t yet offer IoT device management.

Good for kiosks only

One of our distrustful clients tried to manage software distribution within team by this app. As soon as we built trust we needed no this app anymore.

Cons:

Eventually we realized that we have too different demands within our company, so we needed to maintain too many profiles. That became time consuming so we did away with MobiLock.

Pros:

I'm getting far more control and capability than I expected with this app, and at a far greater price than I was paying before just for locational data. Screen sharing, app control and installation, web activity, user lockdown, security features, its all there and for a flat yearly fee! I'm highly impressed with this app and I will be recommending it to anyone, large or small user, who needs a solution for just one of these tasks.

It integrated well with the devices and allows a really easy update to our custom apks

Cons:

Some issues we have had include the notifications bar not working on our A5's as well as the remote control/view not being available on our devices too. A feature we would love that doesn't exist would be being able to have remote deployment from github

Pros:

The ability to assign different profiles to different tablets, remotely lock and unlock devices and track device locations is hugely helpful in managing our devices.

Cons:

Downloading GPS data for a range of dates would be great. Currently have to manually download each day at a time, one device at a time. This seriously limits the usefulness of the GPS logs for GIS purposes.
