About wJewel

WJewel Jewelry Store Management Software is a complete jewelry retail store management platform that streamlines and organizes retail store processes from purchasing to point-of-sale. It provides a fully-featured POS system that covers all facets of retail operations such as sales, appraisals, customer relationship management, inventory management, repair orders, AR/AP, scrap gold purchase, store credits, gift cards, salesman commission, banking, employee hours tracking and more.

With WJewel, businesses can track sales, customer repairs, active customers, inventory, and purchases. Integration with Shopify or other business websites, RFID, and export to transfer to QuickBooks options are available.

Other versions of Wjewel are available for jewelry wholesalers and manufacturers, diamond dealers, and refineries, which include UPS/ParcelPro, FedEx, malcaAmit integration, and EDI capabilities.

Pros:

The customer service is 5 stars. The team has always been quick to respond.

Cons:

Since we are using it on an apple product, I think the software runs slower. Not a big deal, but I am sure it runs better on a regular PC.

Reasons for switching to wJewel

Too expensive. They kept increasing the monthly costs.

The software is good. The customer service doesn’t help with anything.

Easy to use once it’s correctly set up.

Cons:

The representatives for the company do not help you at all. I messaged and called them numerous times with no help. Even had to hire an IT guy to get the program set up.

It was a learning curve for some of our employees who are not very computer savvy

Best System for function and Price

Overall we have had a great experience with this system. It is cost-effective, easy to implement and the training of employees was also a smooth process. Customer support is always available and a quick response time. We have in many instances needed to adapt the program for our retail customers and EDI functions, and we have always been to reach out and make an update. We can keep track of items down to a very detailed level and track and manage inventory effectively. I would highly recommend this system.

It is easy to use and intuitive. It has great support, when you call them up it email, your issues gets resolved or answered very quickly and efficiently. It is a big time saver.

Cons:

They have lots of reports build it, but it does not connect to Crystal Reports.

My overall experience is very positive. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and his team are EXTREMELY responsive and helpful. When we discover elements of the system that are not perfect for us, we make our recommendations and the wJewel team will respond and make corrections for us immediately.

We like that this software has every possible necessary field for someone in the jewelry industry.

Cons:

The software is not as user friendly as it could be. We are on a MAC system in our office so we need to toggle back and forth between using a MAC and a PC which can be complicated.

Very professional appearance that leaves customers feeling comfortable and at ease with repairs and receipts that allow clear understanding. So many detail options that allow a company to start simple and grow with time and need.

Cons:

I was a bit overwhelmed with so many options at first, but support is amazing and assisted with all questions.

A Real Game Changer

We are using the software with the Quickbooks integration. As a customer that has worked with the developer to build custom features, we have been impressed with wJewel and the willingness of the deveopment team to give us exactly what we need.

Pros:

The software has some really nice features to manage memo and consignment in Retail Jewelry. Also, it has nice office automation tools to record recurring APs. Gold purchases are a breeze.

Cons:

No real cons to mention. If we have a problem, the developer fixes it. They are happy to make the software do what we need it to do.
