About wJewel

WJewel Jewelry Store Management Software is a complete jewelry retail store management platform that streamlines and organizes retail store processes from purchasing to point-of-sale. It provides a fully-featured POS system that covers all facets of retail operations such as sales, appraisals, customer relationship management, inventory management, repair orders, AR/AP, scrap gold purchase, store credits, gift cards, salesman commission, banking, employee hours tracking and more.

With WJewel, businesses can track sales, customer repairs, active customers, inventory, and purchases. Integration with Shopify or other business websites, RFID, and export to transfer to QuickBooks options are available.

Other versions of Wjewel are available for jewelry wholesalers and manufacturers, diamond dealers, and refineries, which include UPS/ParcelPro, FedEx, malcaAmit integration, and EDI capabilities.

Wjewel is an excellent software/tool

Everything all around. Great software. Great people. Great support. An excellent tool for inventory and great built in tagging system for printing tags — easy layout. [sensitive content hidden] is very helpful

Cons:

No cons really. Hopefully their level support of continues this way and of course always room for improvement.

Needed a more higher end niche software and tool. QuickBooks not for our structure , type of company, etc.

My thoughts on WJewel

It was very difficult to start using the product and get the information implemented. It is an old school system that caters to an old school style of doing business. We were uninformed on the annual $1,000 fee.

It is easy to find items in stock, manipulate the inventory, and add new products

Cons:

It does not work well across multiple channels. Trying to sync the software with both our Shopify and QuickBooks account was a nightmare. It is probably good if WJewel is your only selling/accounting channel. There seem to be a lot of random bugs that happen. It is not always user friendly.

Customer did not want to share with us any QuickBooks info which made it almost impossible to integrate with it. We succeeded doing it anyway. All charges were disclosed to the office manager prior to signup, who decided not to share them with the owner.

I am extremely pleased with my experience with Wjewel in all aspects. It is also very reasonably priced in its up front costs and it service program.

Pros:

The Software performs excellent in managing our inventory, customer data base. The service provided by the top notch and very fast. They are very quick to respond to any requests to software modifications and hardware conflict resolutions.

Cons:

I haven't found anything I do not like about the software, other than generating appraisals.

Reasons for choosing wJewel

Upfront costs were significantly less and they provided the option to purchase the software up front with no subscription or operate on a subscription base. They also offer a very reasonable subscription for continual support.

I did not like the conversion to a strictly monthly subscription charge.
