About Google Calendar

Google Calendar is a calendar management solution that helps organizations schedule and track meetings and events. It enables employees to create to-do lists and automatically receive reminders to complete specific tasks.

Google Calendar allows team members to access the calendar in multiple formats, including monthly, weekly or daily view. The assists tool lets users create events with details such as title, location, timing and associated personnel. Administrators can create calendar groups to organize and schedule team events, holidays and meetings. Additionally, the schedule view functionality lets employees display upcoming events with information, such as relevant images, maps and dates and time.

Google Calendar enables staff members to synchronize the calendar with Gmail and automatically update event invites and reminders sent via email. It also provides Android and iOS mobile applications, which lets users manage operations remotely. It is available for free and as part of GSuite. Support is extended via email, documentation, FAQs, phone and live chat.

Very good. I am not an organized person so this is helpful in keeping me organized. I appreciate that the functional features have not changed much lately.

It syncs well with other google accounts and helps me keep track of my responsibilities. I can link with my wife’s.

Cons:

I don’t like that they removed observance events in October 2025. I did like knowing when these events occurred.

Best calendar out there!

Overall experience has been great, it’s definitely my favorite out of the calendars I’ve used. I do have my issues with it but I still think it’s better than its competitors.

Pros:

I love that you can customize your calendar pretty much however you want. The different colors make it easy to remember things, and the notifications keep me prepared for what’s next.

Cons:

I don’t love the way the weekly or daily view populates on a cell phone as opposed to a computer. It makes it hard to see. It’s also difficult to click into an event if it’s short. Instead of clicking into it to change it, it tries to create a new event next to it.

Reasons for switching to Google Calendar

Google Calendar was superior and much more user friendly.

G Cal makes everything easy to use and syncs well

It's my go-to. I use it for personal and professional appointments alike with no issues, and I haven't found another calendar i like more.

Pros:

It's free, easy to use. It's very visual and friendly and satisfying. It works as intended without issues. We used this to manage sometimes over 50 appointments/ day and easily color code them, send reminders. It worked well with schedule once and calendly and kajabi. No bugs. Never needed customer support. Send reminder emails to people when required. Was able to use Google Meet when a video conference was needed. Drag and Drop works well.

Cons:

need more colors for color coding but that is it. Also the app doesn't work as well on apple, and i wonder if that's on purpose.

Great UI, Syncs Across all Devices

I have been using Google Calendar to schedule appointments since the business first started in 2019. I have been using it ever since and will continue to use it.

Pros:

First of all Google Calendar is free to use. I like that I can schedule patients with ease and share the calendar with other Google accounts. I am also able to give full access to other Google accounts to add to the schedule.

Cons:

It took me some time to figure out how to give another Google account access. I wish it was easier to find the function.

It is much easier to use and to deploy on mobile devices.

Pros:

Bringing the use of Google Calendar with me to my new workplace has been a gamechanger. I use "All day" events as a to-do list that I can quickly restructure to maintain efficiency throughout the week, and set events with notifications as needed to remind me to prepare ahead of scheduled appointments.

Cons:

I'm not able to use bullet points when making edits from the mobile app, which is my primary way of organizing notes in the description section of Calendar events.

Google Calendar is a great addition to administrative tasks

Even with the glitches from time to time, the issue was remedied quickly. I liked the color block availability to keep all of my teams straight.

It allowed for me to maintain my staff work schedule and utilize it as a master calendar for our customer base.

Cons:

With any software there's always glitches from time to time, and sometimes after creating a client schedule block, then deleting it and creating it again, there would be a duplicate somewhere. It wouldn't pop up right away, it would be a month or two in the future and I couldn't delete it.

Makes tracking and entering online meetings seamless

I love all things Google, and this Calendar is one of the reasons why! It is so great for time mangement and the ease to connect to online meetings is amazing.

I have different jobs, so I have to be mindful that I am logged in under the correct email account, which is not something I fault Google Calendar for.

A simple but essential tool for staying organized

My experience with Google Calendar has been very good. I use it every day for both work and personal life, and it really helps me stay organized. With shared calendars, time zone support, and smooth integration with Google Workspace, it has become essential for managing my time (which is a huge win for someone as disorganized as me)

Pros:

Google Calendar is very reliable and easy to use (love that they send automatic reminders vía email). I work with Google Workspace, so it fits very well in my daily work. Having shared calendars, especially with my partner, really helps me stay organized. I also like how it manages different time zones it makes scheduling meetings much easier and avoids mistakes. It's free (if you only use the basics) and almost everyone has a Google Calendar on their phone. I never had a problem or bug.

Cons:

In this case, I don’t really have any drawbacks to mention. Everything works well for me, and I haven’t experienced any problems or issues using it.
