Pros:

The ease with communicating with the leagues in my District. Connection to Little League website and JDP.

Cons:

Not very District friendly, geared mainly for leagues.

Once Sports Connect made the change back to the BS platform most everything has been very food for our club.

Changed to Blue Sombrero after learning about their sites. Stayed with Sports Connect after the change over.

Blue Sombrero is crucial to the success of my sports league. The ease of use for my staff and all of our clients is second to no other program available on the market! The security in knowing when my clients log in to Blue Sombrero and they are able to register and pay with ease makes my business that much more efficient and gives my clients a sense of stability and brings my company to the next level. Knowing I have a powerful tool that allows me to focus on other aspects of my business has played a pivotal part in my success. Cons:

I run several sports through my sports league and the only think I do not like is I am unable to run a discount coupon through all of my registration at once. But overall it is an amazing program.

It encompasses everything needed to run a league successfully, from registration, team assortment, payment portal, and communication

Cons:

Still working on becoming proficient at managing the back end of the site so that the front end user experience is seamless.

Reasons for switching to Sports Connect

Little League mandated we switch to this product to run our league. Before that, we only used HTO for roster posting and game schedules

Some of the account merge options. Ability to upload specific documents to the patient accounts. Signing docs electronically.

Sports Connect - Best Customer Service!!

Very satisfied. It beats every other software out there in functionality. They all have their challenges.

Pros:

Their customer service is second to none. I work with many software companies and used to work for one. SC does a terrific job at providing timely support to their customers. At least that has been my experience in the last 5 years I have used them.

Cons:

I dislike their newest update which causes the system to kick you out every so often even if you are in the middle of your work. It is frustrating when doing accounting because you are deep in transactions and the system kicks you out...even when you are actively working. It is possible another window may be open, but we use multiple windows. it should acknowledge we are currently working in the system in any window.

Cons:

Some of the financial information is complicated - having to manually enter supply package fees, having to check that balances transfer correctly when moving athletes to a different team than their original registration

Any Leagues Registration Dream!

I think I’ve learn more as an individual until I’m at no point of return and need to contact support for assistance, overall it’s a great program to setup a league.

Cons:

Everything is great up to this point, I will continue to use the guides for learning, which is very helpful.

Love it overall. Helps keep everything together and organized. About export reports and data is easy.

Ease of use and overall cost benefits our small club and grows with us each year. Ability to integrate with Stack Officials is nice.

Cons:

Better interconnectivity with other apps. More integration with other apps. Two way integration or data with the Stavk Team app would be helpful. Coaches to self register or sign up practice times on schedules.
