Amazing support from the implementation, and as we are in the starting phase, Classter appears to be more than promising.

Cons:

As we are still in the implementation process, I cannot comment any further on the missing functions of Classter

Straight forward and easy to navigate from a student and lecturer perspective.

Cons:

Getting used to the background admin layout. It took a little time to get used too but soon was making a lot of sense.

Classter helped us customize a system to manage our admission process

Pros:

I would describe our admission process as quite complicated and complex and it is also very important we make sure that the admission process follows the guidelines and regulations set by the authority of vocational school. It has not been easy to find a way to manage our admission process in the best and efficient way but Classter helped us customize a system to manage this. This year it will be the second time we use Classter for admission. We are also very happy with the contact person we have at Classter. He is always supportive and quick to respond.

Cons:

I wish there was a little bit more flexibility when it comes to features and functions in the student application to support us nurture leads ( sign ups) to submitted application. Even if we are happy with how Classter helped us customize the application based on our needs and wishes ( Classter has been very accommodating and responsive ) the processes of implementing changes/ improvements sometimes feel a bit long and complicated. However we have all the data we need in order to complete admission and that is most essential for us. I also want to point out since we have only worked with Classter for 1,5 year we have not had the time to explore all options and this is something we are continuing discussing and developing as we go of course.

not sure i can find something right now, we are about to go live so maybe i will notice something on the way, however our current experience is more than satisfactory

Very Helpful School/Student Management System!

I use Classter every day and could not manage without it! It is good value and they also keep improving the product. We look forward to increased use of the functionality of Classter and seeing how it helps grow our enrolments.

Pros:

Classter has a wide variety of functionality to help manage many aspects of higher education. It has helped us improve our admissions process. We have accurate data on hand for students and their enrolments, plus it handles billing. We are also able to manage feedback and student surveys. Their support team is fantastic and very responsive. They work to help you succeed. I've appreciated working with them over this past year.

Cons:

We had problems with how Classter interfaced with Moodle (our VLE). However, Classter was happy to develop better functionality to improve this. While we have run into some issues (as you will with any product), I have found their support team very helpful to work through and find solutions.

Reasons for choosing Classter

Better value for what we needed, plus much better functionality for our institution.

Reasons for switching to Classter

Our old system (not listed) was not fit for purpose. It had limited licenses and no student portal. We also used spreadsheets to manage our admissions process.

Growing and learning with Classter

My experience with Classter has been a learning process. It has had some highs and lows as we have navigated the onboarding, customization, and yearly turnover processes with the team. Through all of these times, we have had the opportunity to work with some great support staff that have helped up to navigate the platform and personalize the database to best match our needs and expectations.

Pros:

The thing I most like about Classter is being able to have access to so much information in one place and being able to filter, see history, and customize the database according to preference.

Cons:

The biggest challenge for me was the onboarding processes. Our institution's structure is somewhat different than the traditional school model and finding the configuration and processes to best meet our needs took some time and had its share of growing pains.

Classter is easy to use once it's setup. It has all the features we need and more. Some of the features we didn't even know we needed and are now growing into and getting setting up.

Cons:

We have had a few instances where we have turned on a feature and it not work, only to have Classter report that they have had to do some backend fixing to get it to work. It is a little frustrating when that happens - but overall, Classter has made things right. So it works out.

Pros:

As a CRM administrator it's the first time in my CRM/ERP experience that I encounter such a helpfull and to the point support. I was introduced to classter while my school was already using it so I was happy to work with the support team not only for assistance but also to suggest improvements. From a user perspective its a relative easy and straightforward application that handles also well in everyday use but also during high peak season.

Cons:

Some reports especially in the logistics and finance section could use a bit of tweaking. Since though the Finance department is very demanding on the way results are displayed and with the amount of info they can get from a single screen its a common dislike across many platforms besides Classter.

The customizability and guides for optional self-implementation are great. We are able to choose and pay for only those modules that are relevant to our school. The integrations with other software are also great.

Cons:

Sometimes the amount of options are a bit overwhelming – but the user guides help us work through it.

Although I have over 20 years of experience with software, applications and websites, I was very surprised by the facilities and the way the Classter application is displayed.

It is a very well developed software that covers many requirements and expectations from a college/university.

Cons:

I liked the horizontal scroll part less, when in a window you have to see all the left and right columns, you have to go all the way down to be able to scroll left and right
