        My overall experience is good with TPS. Agents do respond to inquiries. However the service is not consistent and I have recently received great service. [sensitive content hidden] tried to problem solve for a couple of product features we feel our firm is in need of and just the various tips she gave to make using TPS more efficiently were very much appreciated.

        Great time entry function, reports and sometimes advisors who really want to help create a positive outcome.
        Cons:
        Initially I really dreaded calling up support for help as a particular agent was dismissive and somewhat condescending. This was particularly frustrating as I would usually do due diligence and seek out the videos to find answers first and ended up calling or emailing as a last resort.

        TPS is reasonably priced solution for invoicing. However, when I asked for help from support, I was advised to look for another practice management software. Obviously, they have no interest in listening to customer issues so I would steer clear of this software.

        Invoicing is easy to use and cloud based.
        Cons:
        The software is ultimately not going to be useful for us. Here are some of my pain points. 1) I was looking for email integration and tracking using our firm domain for emails. Emailing clients invoices directly from the software would have been a bonus. However, TPS email processes use a @tpssoftware.net domain for email generation. Perhaps they will change this in the future. 2) TPS is a time and billing software. We wanted TPS to track time and expenses for our employees. TPS ignores non chargeable expenses. So if you are looking for a single point of entry for employees to use for time and expense reimbursements, this software is not your solution. 3) Reporting is frustrating. I have spent MORE time defining reports in TPS than I did with my old system. TPS has templated reports, however the templates are not very helpful and don't define the time frame. You must select the beginning and ending time frame for each and every report that you run whether it is month end, ytd or annual reporting. There are NO predefined reporting periods. You MUST do this for each report too. So you can't first define a time range and have it apply to several reports. You literally have to define the time range for each report. If you want to run 20 reports every month for management analysis, I think you could spend all day running the reports. 4) Onboarding was painful. I wanted invoice history to be imported into the system. However, TPS does not offer this feature. I had to manually add the prior invoices into the software. 5) I asked for assistance from customer support on my reporting and expense recordkeeping issues, and support replied back to me that I am the first person of 3000 plus CPA firms that complained about TPS reporting issues and suggested that I look at other practice management software and specifically named Mango, Canopy, Karbon, iFirm, Tax Dome, or Firm360.

        Reasons for choosing TPS Cloud Axis

        I did a fairly substantial amount of research for a cloud based solution. TPS seemed to check the boxes. However, after using the product after one year, the product really is a basic product that I feel I was oversold on the capabilities of the system.

        My old product was no longer supported and frequently crashed.

Our Ultimate plan offers full integration with Outlook 365, ensuring seamless email communication via your work email. Emails sent through TPS should appear in your Outlook Sent Folder. TPS diligently records all employee and non-employee expenses for a client. However, it's not designed to recognize specific instances like an employee buying pizza for the office and seeking reimbursement. There are many period specific reports and many that ask for a time frame where a start/end date is required. Our software provides a range of period-specific reports, some requiring a designated time frame. Periods are defined in the Firm setup and are crucial for certain period-sensitive reporting. TPS typically does not import client history, except for clients transitioning from our LAN "On-Premise" version. Importing client historical data is uncommon in the industry.

        TPS Cloud Axis: A Fabulous Program Backed by Outstanding Customer Service & All-in-One Solution

        Overall TPS Cloud Axis is a fabulous program with many features that track and keep all the information needed at our fingertips. TPS takes care of all our needs with invoicing, time tracking, workflow due date tracking, employee time management, and billing. When we need customer support they are readily available with great willing attitudes and follow through.

        The program is user friendly & Customer Service is exceptional. When you begin learning this system, it has helps on every page. The customer service is exceptional! There is a forum that helps answer frequently asked questions and if the answer is not there, the team is great at helping you get your needs met in a timely manner.
        Cons:
        The updated version look changed so much it was like a whole new program. Our firm was able to ease into this new format and look because TPS provided a time of using the new view before the switch. This helped a lot.

        It is customizable to a small firm. It is intuitive. It "looks" like it should and makes sense. The customer service is awesome!! They answer all of our dumb questions:)
        Cons:
        I can't "Make a deposit". I can only run a deposit report. But we have deposits coming from cash, check, Square, Stripe and Intuit. It is hard to tie out my QB Desktop to the bank to TPS. I wish the calendar functioned more like an outlook calendar to use for the entire firm as our calendar.

        There were unexplained errors in the software (invoices didn't add up). Customer service was non-existent. We were unable to get needed reports from the software.

        Happy with the move to TPS Cloud Axis from Desktop version

        Overall we are pretty happy with the migration from the desktop version over to the Cloud version. I think overall TPS will be more useful to our office than we were using it previously.

        Great customer support from the time we started contemplating the move until implementation and support afterwards. We also did a bunch of housekeeping on our client information, consolidating clinets, adding in emails etc, we can see TPS being a nice tool to bulk email clients as well.
        Cons:
        A bit "laggy" accessing our firm page at times due to technical issues caused by Microsoft servers, items outside the control of TPS. Internet oiutages were our only concern, but I'm sure those issues will be very minimal over time.

        So far so good - as we are just learning where everything is compared to the desk version. [sensitive content hidden] has been great in taking care of us. Quick response and very patient!
        Cons:
        Not being able to print right from the program takes some getting used to. In Axis you either create a pdf or word document and then print from there. We had been using the desktop version since 2010 so getting use to Axis will take some time. Items per page is a pain to have to keep changing to a set how many items per page over and over.

        A step up from their desktop version. There were certainly some upgrades to try and make it easier to use. Your customer support, especially [sensitive content hidden], plus [sensitive content hidden] and some [sensitive content hidden]
        Cons:
        Took a while to learn for the older practitioner. But is worth it. One needs to jump in and use it, getting singular questions answered was no way to learn. Too much is new with the program.

        What i like most about TPS cloud axis is that it allows me to access from any computer/laptop or IPAD since I work remotely. The automatic updates and backup is a plus. It is very friendly user and the YouTube videos also help a lot abut most of all the TPS support team is very responsive and helpful in every need. High five to both [sensitive content hidden]

        At this moment, I do have anything that I dislike from TPS Cloud Axis. In the beginning it was a little difficult to navigate but as you get used to it, it gets better.
