Users can talk to our advisors for free to receive software recommendations matching their needs. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to reach users interested in their products.
Software Advice carefully verified over 2 million reviews to bring you authentic software experiences from real users. Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
Researchers at Software Advice use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or talk to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
ChurchTrac vs Nucleus: Which is best for you?

Features
- Overall, ChurchTrac is a great app for church leaders and administrators to track their churches impact in their neighborhoods, membership growth, and other church member milestones.
- There's not really anything that I don't like about ChurchTrac. If I could tweak anything--and I've already suggested this to the developers a couple of times--it would be to allow automations to be set for quarterly and semi-annual actions, not just daily, weekly, monthly, or annually.
- It's like a supercharged version that has many CMS-like capabilities, but it may not have all the deep options a CMS has but Nucleus still comes pretty close to being a comprehensive CMS and offers a powerful toolkit to boost church operations and engagement.
- They lack third party integration with a lot of major church softwares.
