The BIC GRC is a great and easy to use Risk Management tool, which help our company track financial and legal risk along our main processes. The GRC is used globally in our company and it has brought a good structure on how to manage controls in our multiple global locations.
Cons:
We’ve integrated the GRC module with our BIC Process Design, which has significantly enhanced our risk and control management. However, one challenge we face is the interdependency between the two applications—when one is updated, the other must be tested and potentially updated as well. While this ensures system integrity and is ultimately beneficial for maintaining a robust setup, it does require additional resources and coordination across teams.

BIC GRC löst das Problem, Governance-, Risk- und Compliance-Anforderungen in einer zentralen Plattform effizient zu managen. Die Lösung bietet strukturierte Workflows für Risikoanalysen, Compliance-Assessments und Asset-Management, was die Transparenz und Nachvollziehbarkeit erhöht. Besonders gefällt mir der angebotene Support und die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der Lösung, die sicherstellt, dass neue regulatorische Anforderungen zeitnah integriert werden. Ein großer Vorteil ist, dass BIC GRC Teil der umfassenden BIC Platform ist. Dadurch lassen sich zusätzliche Module wie Prozessmanagement (relevant z. B. für ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) und Enterprise Architecture Management freischalten. So wird aus einer reinen GRC-Lösung ein "mächtiges" Werkzeug für die Implementierung und Integration von Managementsystemen in großen Unternehmen/Organisationen.

Besonders beeindruckt hat mich der NIS2-Assessmentkatalog, der eine klare Orientierung für Compliance-Anforderungen bietet und gleichzeitig individuell anpassbar ist. Das integrierte Risikomanagement ermöglicht es, Risiken nicht nur zu identifizieren, sondern auch direkt mit Maßnahmen zu verknüpfen – alles in einem zentralen Workflow. Der Asset-Katalog ist ein weiteres Highlight, da er eine transparente Übersicht über alle relevanten Werte schafft und so die Grundlage für ein effektives Informationssicherheits- und Risikomanagement bildet. Insgesamt überzeugt BIC GRC durch seine Vielseitigkeit und die Möglichkeit, komplexe Anforderungen in einer intuitiven Oberfläche abzubilden.
Cons:
Was mir an BIC GRC weniger gefällt, ist der Aufwand beim Customizing. Die vielen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten sind zwar ein Vorteil, erfordern aber auch viel Zeit und Know-how, um die Plattform optimal an die eigenen Anforderungen anzupassen. Die Konfiguration von Rollen wie ISB, CISO oder Berater empfinde ich als umständlich, da die Zuordnung und Berechtigungen nicht (immer) intuitiv gelöst sind. Für Unternehmen mit komplexen Strukturen kann das initiale Setup dadurch recht anspruchsvoll werden. Für mich überwiegen dennoch die Vorteile, sobald die Anpassungen abgeschlossen sind.

Die schnelle und unkomplizierte Risikoerfassung und -verwaltung, ohne dass dabei viel Zeit verloren geht. BIC ist sehr benutzerfreundlich, enthält sinnvolle Workflows, die einem die Arbeit erleichtern, und stellt alles zur Verfügung, was es für ein qualitativ hochwertiges Risikomanagement braucht – samt Risikosimulation, klaren Dashboards, und schneller Berichterstellung.
Cons:
Die Anpassung von bestimmten Features nimmt etwas Zeit in Anspruch, besonders bei speziellen Anforderungen. Support seitens der Firma ist jedoch gegeben.
