The perfect tool to distributed data loads through your cloud capacity

Amazon EMR has allowed us to configure multiple batch processing jobs, with scalable cloud capacity, all in one place. Using Hadoop, data processing is parallelized and Spark support provides further boost to all you work.

Pros:

Amazon EMR allows to balance data processing over all the cloud machine provided from Amazon EC2, using Hadoop ecosystem. Each single data processing job can be divided in to two or more step, which can be run alone too, making data processing managing user friendly.

Cons:

Setting up Amazon EMR is not easy at first sight and you need a bit of experience and time to reach the optimal conditions for your applications and processes to run efficiently.

Overall EMR has multiple offerings like serverless emr on eks and emr on ec2 which gives flexibility for users to opt for. Its very important to provide data analytics service and EMR nails it

Best cloud service to utilize the vast array of tools in the Hadoop ecosystem

We used EMR to improve the scalability of our ETL jobs. With EMR, cluster size is just one config change away.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to spin up a ready-to-use Hadoop cluster using EMR. It takes away a lot of the infrastructure work necessary to use Hadoop tools and spark.

Cons:

I don't really have anything I don't like about EMR.
