About Quantum Network Security

Quantum Network Security by Check Point is a cloud-based security solution that provides scalable protection from cyberattacks on a cloud, network, data center, IoT, and/or remote users.

Quantum Network Security users receive a Check Point Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliance, which is installed in-office and then managed in the cloud by Check Point security experts. Protections provided through the UTM include firewall, antivirus, anti-spam and email security and intrusion prevention (IPS). In addition, URL filtering defends against online threats and enables businesses to control which sites employees visit, while application control allows firms to decide which programs can run on work computers.

Quantum Network Security also includes virtual private network (VPN) functionality, which enables users to securely access company networks and resources while traveling or working remotely. Support is offered via phone, email, online live chat and a support request portal.

Compherensive Network Security

We have migrated the legacy applications to K8s. Maestros can handle millions of transactions. I appreciate for the maestro product line.

Pros:

Lots of features. Product line is vast from small to very large deployments. Integrations within the 3rd party products is superb. Smatrconsole is the defacto standart for the network security management. Theat Prevention features really work well. Lots of new features coming with the releases

Cons:

APIs are lacking in terms of integrations with Soar. There's no AI for the analytics. Maestro is the only way to scale in large enterprises with Threat Prevention.

Reasons for choosing Quantum Network Security

Price and performance. Support is another vector. It is eEasy to find a good partner in the region. I can access the firewall operating system directly. Therefore the cases are more easily solved

Worth the money if you need the features

Once you are able to understand the software its very good and you can do a lot with it. You can really lock things down and keep an eye on your network.

Pros:

Almost all the enterprise level features you would ever need. Quantum firewall is a rock solid product built on years of development that will give you peace of mind.

Cons:

Expensive licensing options especially if you need redundancy and failover options. Takes a while to get used to the software.

Reasons for choosing Quantum Network Security

We used previous Checkpoint firewalls products so moving to Quantum was ideal.
