All in One HR App

It was great! We did our employee reviews through it, we did shout outs through it, and we did all of our HR stuff through it.

Pros:

I loved how you could recognize employees through the platform as well as it doubling as an HR platform. I had this software previously and really enjoyed how interactive it was.

Cons:

There's so much it can do and it can feel overwhelming. Also I got it confused with an insurance agency a lot so I always messed up my benefits.

Ukg-Manage payroll with panache

Overall its a really great platform to manage attendance, payroll and scheduling needs. Super easy to learn and execute

Pros:

The interface with timecards and scheduling is really easy to learn and teach. We changed the software from Kronos and not much training was required to learn the new platform.

Cons:

Sometimes the employees complain about that they are not able to login. Also as a manager I struggle to login if outlook email is open

Reasons for switching to UKG Pro

It was a team decision because kronos kept glitching all thr time and also not that secure

Also use this for my current work as a DCW and it’s also a very good system and very easy to access.

Cons:

Least I like is that sometimes it takes long to get assistance if you can’t access the account you own

Effective for Payroll

As an HR Generalist using UKG Pro primarily for payroll and timekeeping, my overall experience has been mixed but generally positive. UKG Pro has a lot of cool reports and functions however it requires significant training and ongoing system knowledge to use effectively. In my opinion, PUK Pro is best suited for organizations that have dedicated HR/Payroll staff and the time to properly implement and maintain the system to it's full capacity.

Pros:

This platform is easy for staff to navigate and easily access paystubs, tax forms, VAC and SICK time, timecards which helps reduce routine HR inquiries. I really like all the reporting options within UKG for payroll, time, and employee data. Makes payroll and reconciliations easier to do. Customer Service for this platform has been overall better than other payroll systems I've used in the past.

Cons:

The system is not very intuitive, especially for new HR or Payroll users. Many tasks, such as pulling reports or making a historical corrections require multiple steps. Support does seem to require a lot of trial and error which can be frustrating. Accruals and pay codes can be complicated to understand as a new user and for staff to understand.

My experience with UKG Pro.

UKG Pro has a user-friendly interface that makes general implementation easy. It has helpful tools such as automatic time capture, online time tracking, reporting and analytics.

Pros:

The software enbles us to simplify our human resource management processes from employees scheduling, benefits administration to general compensation management. The software also allows real-time applicants tracking and all candidate management processes.

Cons:

Delayed alerts and notifications and poor customer support services are the major issues negatively affecting implementation of the software.

Highly Recommend Using!

Loved using ultipro versus using workday now. Honestly wish the company would go back to using it... as well as using ukg workforce for clocking in & out.

Very easy to navigate between profiles, data entry for new hires as well as accessing compensation and tax information.

Cons:

accessing on computer was simpler and easy versus using the app at times, for some reason the server would crash or not retain login info.

i like that you put your days off in the system and block your schedule and also you can put up shifts and pick them up

sometimes it runs a little slow but i really don't have any other complains the system is good ! i love it
