About easyTithe

easyTithe is a cloud-based donation management solution for churches that enables the collection of donations through customized giving pages, kiosks, iOS and Android apps, Facebook integration, and text messaging. Multiple giving methods aim to increase convenience for donors and grow donations. Flexible payment options support automated recurring giving, credit card, debit card, and ACH (eChecks) processing, storage of multiple payment methods per donor, and the ability to ask donors to cover payment processing fees.

Unlimited funds and donors can be managed with easyTithe, and multiple campuses or sites are supported. A control panel enables the management and tracking of donor data. Users can generate a range of custom reports by date range, fund, transaction, and donor. easyTithe is Level 1 PCI DSS certified and utilizes 256-bit SSL encryption for all transactions to ensure that data security is maintained.

easyTithe...brings "easy" to online giving!

Pros:

I really like how simple easyTithe is to use. Set up was a snap, and when I had a question, customer service provided the answer I needed in a fast and efficient manner. Our donors also really like using easyTithe for their online giving. From start to finish, they are up and running and very satisfied and confident in the safety and security of their donation.

Cons:

We implemented easyTithe approximately 5 years ago, and through the years the only negative I can say is I wish we had implemented sooner. easyTithe has given us a channel of giving that we didn't have before.

Reasons for choosing easyTithe

We chose easyTithe over the other alternatives because of the excellent reputation the company has for customer service. It's ease of use was also a huge benefit over the others.

Pros:

I like that users can utilize this software through a computer, through an app and via text. It also gives users the ability to add pictures, link your children's/spouse giving records to yours and to run reports to see how much you've given through out the year.

Cons:

I don't like that you can't tell it what you're giving into via text. For example, if I want to give tithe, I can't say tithe. I just text an amount and that's it. It defaults to tithe. Doesn't seem to have much flexibility in that area.

Ease of use on church app online and text give and at one time the customer service

Cons:

Their customer support is really, really, really bad over the past several of months it is the worst I have dealt with you open tickets and it takes over a month with no response and when they do respond they just close the ticket without completing the request. I have had major problem after major problem from deductions from wrong accounts, not depositing correct amounts, depositing donations to accounts that are not ours, not reflecting donors contributions and a list of other issue. I have spoken with customer reps they have passed me up to a manager they said would help to expedite. there was several occasions were I waited on hold for over 3 hours, finally I reached someone. We are currently shopping for over providers

We did experience some service interruptions that impacted many of our customers, including you. While we're saddened that you were impacted by the issues, those challenges helped us identify shortcomings in our service model we have since corrected. Some of these improvements included staffing plans to ensure there are more resources to support you during the busiest times of the year. The Name Says It All

Overall, it's been a great experience. It was easy to incorporate into the website and users seem to be able to pick it up simple enough to do their giving.

Maybe the cost. It seems like this one at some point became a little more expensive than another giving software I recommended to another church.

Pros:

We were a new church and this tool made it extremely easy to begin. The customer service was extremely helpful and walked us through how to set up an account. We use this for almost every online donation and it is a must-have for every organization.

Cons:

It would be helpful if there was a way to customize reports of giving. We have recurring givers and those that give after a special event or fundraiser. Having easier access to this capability would help us respond to them appropriately.

Easy Tithe Company Continues to Take Money From Our Church

We have used Easy Tithe for a couple years. We have never been really impressed with their service. Recently (January), we have tried to have them close our account since those who used to use them to give to our church no longer attend. Each month I send a help ticket and talk on the phone with their staff and they tell me the account will be closed. Then each month they take more money out of our bank account. I'm sorry it has come to me having to publish this to try and get them to close our account. I would not recommend Easy Tithe to anybody. I view the difficulty of simply trying to get them to stop taking money and close our account as proof they are not honest with their business. Beware of this company.

Works well when it works

We still have a few parishioners who like to use the kiosk so it takes care of that. Support is really helpful but a little slow to respond. Overall, its a decent system but it needs to be fixed so iOS updates don't "break" it.

Easytithe will integrate with your website and even mobil giving. It will let people give one time or setup scheduled giving. Easy and simple to setup.

Cons:

Forms are clunky feeling fees are a little higher than some, but they make up for most of it with ease of setup and use.

Excellent Product

We used EasyTithe as a temporary resource while our original service was being reproduced. The only reason we switched back was loyalty and a very generous offer! EasyTithe has an excellent name for their product, and will be our go to source should our new product not work out!
