Deploy your web app in a single step

I used Amplify for many purposes: from hosting one page samples or catalogs, to top level internal tools that supports a huge user flow. It never experienced a downfall in many projects, since they were deployed.

Pros:
The simplicity on which you can deploy your web app, just connecting your repository (Gitbucket, Github or a simple bucket) and let Amplify do the build for you. After it finish, an URL will be available which can be later customized or routed to your domain.
Cons:
It does exactly what AWS offers at a very low price, with many other services included.

I like how Amplify integrates with AWS CDK, allowing you to can deploy Amplify apps in a repeatable way with little effort. Configuring DNS settings for your Amplify app is simple and the interface is intuitive.
Cons:
When navigating to the Amplify window in the AWS console, I dislike not being able to see which backend AWS services are interacting with my front-end. I realise that if you do all of the setup using the Amplify CLI, then you can see these backend services. However, this isn't scalable for large businesses that need to deploy assets in a repeatable way (using CFN templates or the CDK).

Usually for frontend web applications need a server to host the application but AWS Amplify gives us the power to make it serverless.
Cons:
AWS Amplify seems a good choice for small projects but for large enterprise applications I would choose open source project like React
