About Google Cloud Run
Google Cloud Run is a fully managed platform that enables developers to build and deploy scalable containerized applications. The platform supports a wide range of programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, Node.js, .NET, and Ruby. It caters to various professionals including developers, software engineers, web developers, AI specialists, and IT professionals.
Developers can run frontend and backend services, batch jobs, host large language models, and queue processing workloads without managing any infrastructure. Google Cloud Run also supports source-based deployment options for various languages, automatically building the container for the developer and eliminating the need to install Docker.
Cloud Run's autoscaling capabilities help automatically scale containers up and down from zero, ensuring users only pay when the code is running. The platform offers on-demand access to NVIDIA L4 GPUs for running AI inference workloads, with GPU instances scaling to zero. Developers can also write and deploy functions directly with Cloud Run, providing control over the underlying service configuration.

Cloud Run - the deploy at once method for busy developers
5
Always enjoy working with Google Cloud Run. Big diff compared to having a virtual machine and running apps in webservers there. The fact that it goes from zero to active traffic without any extra configuration made me feel confident that I could focus on building features. The pricing model also made sense to me because I only paid when the service is actually running.

Easy deployment of container workloads with Cloud Run
3
We use Cloud Run for many of our internal financial service applications. Currently we do not have compute intensive worklaods running, therefore, we haven't faced any major issues. However, during testing we have deployed some heavy workloads which did not turn out and work well in Cloud Run.
