Pros / Cons
  • Mailchimp allows us to quickly create, automate, and analyze email campaigns, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and seasoned marketers.
  • For agencies, they forced that the pre-paid credits expire in a year, and the list plans aren't worth the money unless you send a lot of frequent mails. If you send campaings from time to time to different customers, unless your volume is huge, fees make it unpayable. If you are an end user, then the story is different and prices will make more sense (maybe that's their idea of customers right now).

  • The account management team has been supportive in implementing strategic initiatives, including bulk campaigns and market-specific optimisation. Whilst managing highly granular campaign structures requires technical expertise, the platform's core functionality has contributed positively to our advertising performance and business growth across different marketplaces.
  • Seriously, I can't think of a single thing that has not exceeded expectations, but if I have to come up with one thing, I don't recall being told that our initial account manager was only going to work with us from onboarding through the first 3 months (what they call a "probationary period").
