How it actually parses properly, it's not like the usual OCR where it parses things weirdly, this one is good

My overall experience with Parsio has been quite positive, and I would describe it as smooth and reliable. What I liked the most about Parsio is how efficient and reliable the platform is when it comes to extracting structured data directly from my PDF documents. Normally, this process can be time-consuming and prone to errors if done manually, but Parsio makes everything seamless and automated. I was impressed by the way it identifies the fields, organizes the information, and provides clean results that are easy to use for further analysis or integration with other tools. It saves me valuable time and ensures accuracy, which makes it an excellent solution for data management needs.

Cons:

What I liked the least about Parsio is that the platform does not currently give me the flexibility to select specific tables, pages, or sheets that I want to extract from my documents. Many times, a PDF may contain several sections, and I only need certain parts of the data, but Parsio processes everything together without letting me filter or target what is most relevant. This limitation means that I sometimes have to clean the data manually after extraction, which reduces some of the time savings and efficiency that the tool otherwise provides.

Reasons for switching to Parsio

I decided to make the switch to Parsio because I was looking for a tool that could handle document parsing and data extraction in a faster, more accurate, and more automated way than the solutions I was previously using. Before, I often relied on manual work or less reliable platforms, which not only consumed a lot of time but also introduced errors into the process. Parsio offered me the possibility to streamline my workflow, reduce repetitive tasks, and ensure greater consistency in the extracted data. This combination of efficiency and reliability motivated me to adopt it as my main tool.

Parsio’s Intentional Service Downgrade for AppSumo Users: A Move to Force monthly Paid Plans

I’ve been using Parsio for over two years now, and I was one of the first users since I signed up through AppSumo. I was thrilled with the service, which worked extremely well until last November. I was using Parsio to extract data from certain emails I receive. However, the email forwarding feature no longer works, and Parsio no longer "receives" emails forwarded by Gmail. The customer service, which is extremely poor by the way, suggested I subscribe to a €30/month add-on to get the service working again. I’ve perfectly understood the move: Parsio intentionally degraded the service for AppSumo customers in order to force them into a paid monthly plan. I find that shameful and disgraceful.

Parsio is simple to use and was working fine. Templating is simple.

Cons:

Email forwarding no longer works. Parsio mailboxes aren’t receiving my emails (I use Gmail to forward them). Parsio replaces extracted email adresses with "email protected" in the extracted data, even though it still shows them in the preview. Customer support is terrible.

Thank you for sharing your experience—we truly appreciate your long-time support of Parsio. To clarify, there has been no intentional service degradation for AppSumo users. The issue stems from the type of Email Service Provider (ESP) used. Free-tier users rely on a free ESP, which we cannot control, while paid users benefit from a premium ESP. Unfortunately, free ESPs sometimes block incoming emails, which seems to be the issue here. We offered multiple solutions, with the premium add-on being just one option. The claim that we intentionally degraded the service is inaccurate and misleading. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Parsio is an incredible ai document parser. It makes data extraction effortless. Its accuracy in pulling structural data from pdf is amazing and saves alot of time. The interface is user friendly and the automation features works seamlessly.

Cons:

Limited free tier usage. You will need a paid subscription to access some features. Accuracy depends on quality of the document which may lead to a less accurate result

More help in defining and supplying the target json schemas. Complex attachments and documents in particular.

Pros:

A really good tool to do OCR on invoice pdfs. Like you can forward invoices to Parsio, which is easy to track the ones that weren't and were transferred to the tool.

Cons:

Doesn't extract complex, nested schemas. Integration to Google sheet is fine but the data design is per Line Data rather than Line Item.
