About CareStack

CareStack is a dental software that helps build meaningful relationships with patients. The platform enables dentists to create and manage patient lists, send automated and scheduled email campaigns, schedule follow-up appointments, and capture patient phone numbers. The intelligent scheduler lets institutions set popup reminders and automatically reschedule appointments for patients that forgot or missed their appointment.

CareStack allows physicians to save time on regular tasks that are done repeatedly using the automated scheduling system which reminds and reschedules for you. It helps speed up documentation with a dashboard featuring charts to show appointment activity by day of the week, weekend activity, and more. The platform is HIPAA compliant so all records are safe from unauthorized access.

    Easy metric tracking – helps monitor key practice data efficiently. Simplified billing – makes the billing process clear and straightforward. Excellent support team – quick, knowledgeable, and responsive assistance. Continuous improvement – frequent updates and enhancements to the software. Customizable features – ability to tailor certain tools to fit your office’s specific needs.
    Cons:
    When we first started using CareStack, there were a few things that took some time to get used to, and a couple of minor issues that we noticed early on. However, the CareStack team was very responsive — they listened to our feedback and made updates and improvements quickly. Those initial concerns have since been fixed, so at this point, we really don’t have any major issues with the software.

    Dentrix reports was not customizable and sometimes not very accurate, also was not compatible with a lot of different additional programs

    Strong Implementation, Strong Software

    Our office implemented CareStack at the beginning of this year as part of our search for a true all-in-one practice management system that could streamline both the patient and team experience. Now that we are transitioning out of the implementation phase, our team has nothing but positive things to say about the experience. Throughout our transition away from our previous PMS, the CareStack implementation team, specifically [sensitive content hidden] was exceptional. They guided us through every step of the process and made what could have been an overwhelming transition feel organized, supported, and manageable. Their knowledge, responsiveness, and attention to detail gave us a great deal of confidence in our decision to move forward with CareStack. As expected with any major technology change, there were some hiccups along the way, but the team handled each one with professionalism, patience, and care. We had no shortage of questions, and support was always timely and thorough. If someone couldn’t immediately assist us, they quickly connected us with the right person and ensured we were guided in the right direction. We also truly valued their workflow recommendations. We took their suggestions seriously, implemented them into our processes, and have already seen how well they support the day-to-day flow of our office. It’s clear they know the software inside and out and genuinely want their clients to succeed. When it comes to the software itself, we are extremely pleased with what CareStack allows us to do clinically, administratively, and from a patient-experience standpoint. Choosing a new PMS is a big decision, and we feel confident that CareStack was the right choice for our practice.

    CareStack is truly an all-in-1 software for dental offices, everything we could possibly need is in CareStack. Also, their support is always accessible and responsive - following through with all requests.
    Cons:
    No option for unlimited outbound SMS / email messaging. With an office our scale, unlimited would be something we could benefit from.

    I have been working with CareStack for over 4 years, and the team is amazing—very professional and knowledgeable. The PMS offers comprehensive systems that enable practices to grow both internally and externally, making it an excellent solution for DSOs.
    Cons:
    While no software is perfect, CareStack's responsive team ensures that any issues can be fixed or enhanced. This partnership approach allows both the PMS and dental practice to grow together.

    I liked the all cloud based platform, the visuals of the software, the online booking and texting, the automated reminders built within the system and the automated text messages for reviews.
    Cons:
    Billing was hard to understand and there was a large learning curve in the beginning. Felt like there was too many options and ways about doing things but was made easier once we had enough sessions with carestack employees. Only thing is knowledge of carestack was not uniform amongst their employees. Some knew about how to do things more than others.

    Ease of finding KPIs that matter and help develop workflows that are useful to our practice. The overall organization from onboarding to analytics and account management, we never felt lost along the way.
    Cons:
    Tickets. Although the team did communicate very quickly and was able to get most problems resolved. Also, treatment planning with dual and tertiary insurance. They rarely show the correct copay.

    We use CareStack across 9 Pediatric Dental Centers, and the experience has been very positive. The support team is proactive, responsive, and solution-oriented. The platform is fast, stable, and continuously improving. A solid PMS for multi-location practices.

    We love that it is very user friendly and easy to use. Support is prompt when needed and has lots of awesome features!
    Cons:
    Some of our patients do struggle with the patient portal, and receiving their access codes. It can be a bit confusing for older patients.

    What I like most about CareStack is [sensitive content hidden]! He was amazing whenever I need help he was always there to Help. I also like how everything is in one system and pretty easy to navigate.
    Cons:
    My least favorite thing about CareStack is attaching documents to claims. I feel there should be an easier way to attaches files.

    Wonderful! If I ever can't figure anything out I just call there support number. It does not take lng to get an answer or they walk me through how to do what I am asking.

    The implemenation specilist was wonderful. She made it so much easier with all of her knowledge of the software. Always had a quuck response and explained in a way that was easy to learn.
    Cons:
    The billing statement were hard to decipher but there was an update and now I really like the new billing statements!
