Pros:

I like to use Gymcatch to schedule my fitness classes and my time at the gym. Before it was a mess to have clear information about dates and times available for classes. Now it is much easier to keep track of the time I want to reserve my spot. I also like that I can make payments directly without complications, a very useful tool to lead a more relaxed fitness life

Cons:

There is still nothing I can say that I dislike, for my well-being everything has worked perfectly

Amazing Booking system

Great, been using since I restarted my classed after covid in June 2021 and wouldn't switch to another provider

Very easy to use and I have a lot of older clients which is a big plus. Its also very appealing to look at

Sometimes if there is a glitch people struggle to book sessions but it rarely happens. I also released a new package on BF but some that already had package couldnt purchase another but others could

I preferred the overall look of gymcatch. A friend and fellow instructor was already using gymcatch so I also joined

Tried this software for a couple of years

This software did not suit my business. Customers sighed a sigh of relief when I ditched it.

Pros:

It was cheap. The support initially was useful. It allowed class swaps which at the time my existing software didn’t.

Cons:

I swapped to different software after a few years as I got complaints on a weekly basis about gymcatch. I spent time with the team at gymcatch going through my account to see if there was a way to simplify, or if I’d made a mistake setting things up, but Gymcatch said I had everything set up the way it should be. It caused me constant weekly problems and was a time suck, and I realised I was losing new trade; new customers gave up trying to book with Gymcatch. In general, my customers disliked Gymcatch and moving software has been a great decision for the business. Within 3 months of leaving Gymcatch and moving to TeamUp, all the spaces in my classes are now filled, so taking the risk of a more expensive software has paid for itself several times over already. Unless you have a very small and simple business, I would suggest steering clear of Gymcatch. I think trying to save money with cheap software cost me money in the long term.

Reasons for choosing Gymcatch

Because it would allow class swaps. (At the time, bookwhen didn’t have swap facility. They do now. In general, I would recommend Bookwhen over Gymcatch for customer ease of use).

Reasons for switching to Gymcatch

A recommendation from a mentor. I now would not recommend Gymcatch after using it for a few years.

Having reviewed what correspondence was raised (especially given timings), it looks as if the use of the Private Access facility (gating who can see sessions to book), was likely the issue and one that either through configuration or communication to you we could / should have resolved. Gymcatch easy to use and good value for money

Good overall experience Easy to use and understand how to set schedules and packages Good help manuals to get you used to using the system

Pros:

It's easy to work with find ways to learn about different features and it's not very expensive even when you purchase all features

Cons:

Some of the restrictions around the programming like if you have two sites separating the schedule rather than buying two subscriptions How members on memberships can't allocate their next months classes to the membership until the 1st of the Month passes

Very happy with Gymcatch

Very happy with Gymcatch. It does everything I want it to do. Book clients in for classes and you can use a form to ask parq questions and consent before the class.

Pros:

It’s a very easy system to use. My clients like using it as well and say it’s easy to book onto classes and log on to see what they have booked.

Cons:

It is a little expensive considering I only use it for 1 class a week and if you add on lots of extras it makes it even more.

Reasons for switching to Gymcatch

It used to be free and when they started charging is was going to be really expensive.

Gymcatch saves me time every week!

Gymcatch is a great platform that is easy to use for both instructors and clients alike. The app is helpful to point customers to be able to book in for sessions and once their profile is set up, they can book in with ease. The different bolt on features are brilliant to use as and when your business requires and it’s so good you can swap them as you need. The auto-credits/cancellation feature has saved me countless hours of admin! If ever you have a query or issue, the Gymcatch team are always on hand to help resolve.

The User-Friendly Booking System That Just Works!

I really enjoyed using Gymcatch for almost 18 months and would happily use it again, if the need arose.

Ease of set up and the ability to chat with support, when stuck and needing some guidance. [sensitive content hidden] and Team were on hand within minutes and were extremely helpful

Cons:

Some of the terminology used can be tricky for customers to get their head around, such as "Courses" .

Intuitive scheduling software that my and my clients love

I like that the scheduling page showcases my offerings in a clear and intuitive way for clients all in 1 place; I feel this has increased bookings from when I used to use Acuity that listed them in sub sections

Cons:

I would like to be able to have email automation, such as a reminder and follow up email auto sent. It would be beneficial if I have a 2-way link with Google to aid scheduling.

Gymcatch, my assistant

Gymcatch has helped my buissiness a lot! My pilates studio is basically a "one woman show" but with gymcatch I feel like I have an assistant.

Pros:

It is simple, for both clients and admin, but also offerrs a lot of possibilities and variations in designing it for everything my buissines needs.

Cons:

Sometimes it is slow as if there is a bug but there is none. That can be a bit confusing, still everything works. And it woul be better if messages could be larger an possibility of pasting a link would be great.
