SignMaster is a software that helps users create signs, logos, lettering, pinstripes, and more using the desktop vinyl cutter module. Image manipulation at its finest

Quick and Easy to learn. If you’ve ever used any design software, the user interface is extremely easy to understand .

Pros:

After having used a variety of design programs over 20 Years. I needed to use a couple programs at once sometimes to achieve what it was I was trying to do. With Signmaster I can edit images, I can crop those images, I can punch out or stamp those images for precise sizes, I can tile images and I can vectorize images. I don’t know of any other program that can do all those things together.

Cons:

It would be nice to have more interactive cutting options. Eg. Turning off certain cut colours and when tiling larger items being able to slide the panel box to where it can start and end so I’m not wasting material on white space. Maybe it already has that feature ? I can’t seem to access any information on it.

Reasons for switching to SignMaster

More features to manipulate images in one place. I don’t have to switch between programs. My Signmate originally a $5000 program was great for cutting but limited for designing.

Great Software - Signmaster is easy to use - with high quality results in short time

The first projects like shirts, caps and hoodies I only made for myself. Then I started making these things for family and friends. Now I am using Signmaster not only for making patches for clothes, I use it to design, cut or print my ideas on different materials to make art on several surfaces. And I am one step away from starting my own business. I only have love and thumps up for this software (:

Pros:

Software is easy to understand and easy to use. You get really good results very quickly which helps to keep on doing. The outline and cut-contour modules are my favorites!

Cons:

Sometimes the "undo" button does not work when flipping or mirroring objects.

Reasons for switching to SignMaster

I used to work with Corel at my job. But I switched the job a few years ago. Design and plotting are my hobbies (soon they will be my job again :) ) so I needed a good software with a cutting machine.

Easy for anyone to Master

I've been using Sign Master since 2019 when my old plotter failed and was too expensive to repair. At first, I was a little apprehensive to try a plotter that came with software. Well Sign Master proved me wrong It is not only very simple to master its very user friendly. I have several employees (interns) that know almost nothing about signs and graphics. They picked up on this program and have been able to take on designing for clients which frees me up for other projects.

Simple and easy to use, even interns can figure it out quickly.

Cons:

The vectorization feature could do a better job, especially with lettering. The imaging part is pretty good.

Sign Master came with the plotter, thought I would try it and really liked it.

Sign master makes me look good

People tell me how talented I am. I tell them that it is because of the software that I have. The software allows me to create many different things. I do engraving as well that has good software but I always do all of my designs in sign master and then transfer it over to the other software to burn/cut. I love sign master so much and use it everyday.

There really isn’t any cons that I can think of.

I had a hard time learning the software. Signature was much easier to learn and do many things that I could do with the other software.

Pros:

I started using Pro master in 2017 when I wanted to make T-shirts and cups. I’ve upgraded year after year. I’ve learned new avenues of creativity while using this software I’ll never change to another software.

Cons:

There isn’t anything I don’t like about the software.

Vectoring made easy!

I got SignMaster for free with my vinyl cutter. Didn't realize it was the best part of my purchase. I picked it up fast and now I use it over Adobe Illustrator.

It is very easy to use. Other vector software programs are overly complicated.

Cons:

Mine program has started to have a delay every 30 seconds. It's pretty annoying honestly. Hope it can be fixed if I update it or something.
