About Caretime

CareTime is a cloud-based software platform designed for home care organizations to manage operations, documentation, EVV, and billing in one connected system.

CareTime helps align what happens in the field with what gets billed and paid. By connecting scheduling, visit documentation, and EVV data directly to billing workflows, agencies can identify issues early, reduce manual rework, and avoid delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information.

Caregivers can document visits electronically while meeting program and compliance requirements. Administrators gain real-time visibility into visit status, documentation gaps, and billing readiness—allowing teams to resolve problems before claims are submitted.

CareTime supports Medicaid and Medicare home health billing and offers optional revenue cycle management services for organizations that need additional support.

    Overall, my experience with CareTime has been extremely positive. From the very beginning, their team has been supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. The platform is easy to navigate, and the customer service has made the entire process of opening and managing my agency feel much less overwhelming. Their customer service is truly phenomenal—every single person I’ve spoken with has been kind, patient, and genuinely supportive. It means so much to work with a team that understands the real struggles of starting and running an agency. On top of that, the platform is very easy to navigate, which makes day-to-day work much less stressful. I truly appreciate CareTime and the amazing people behind it.
    Cons:
    At this time, I have not experienced any issues or challenges with CareTime. My experience has been very positive overall, and everything I’ve needed so far has been well supported.

    What I like most about Caretime is the help function. It can help you answer just about any issue you are having. And if you can't find the answer, the customer service team is very helpful. I also like that it's a basic platform for a company who is starting out.
    Cons:
    What I like least about Caretime is the overall functionality. The wording of some stuff just doesn't make sense. I find calling a client the "job" very confusing. When you are working on billing, it doesn't signal errors or anything. It would be more helpful to signify a mistake that is made or a box that needs to be filled in. And if a box doesn't need to be filled in, or even used for billing, don't include it at all. It makes it very confusing.

    Horrible Service In Every Department!

    Caretime appears to operate with minimal staffing while being responsible for assisting thousands of customers. As a result, customer service is almost non-existent. Any attempt to resolve an issue is met with excessively long wait times, delayed responses, or no response at all. This is not only frustrating but entirely unacceptable for a company of your size and responsibility. When contact is finally made, the experience only worsens. The individual responsible for handling billing matters has consistently demonstrated unprofessional behavior, a lack of basic customer service skills, and an apparent absence of respect for customers. Their tone, demeanor, and inability to communicate effectively reflect poorly on your organization and raise serious concerns about training, accountability, and leadership. Customers should not feel dismissed, disrespected, or burdensome when seeking assistance—especially regarding billing issues, which require accuracy, professionalism, and clear communication. The lack of character, courtesy, and competence displayed is unacceptable and damaging. This ongoing pattern of inadequate staffing, excessive delays, and unprofessional conduct has created a hostile and frustrating customer experience. It is unreasonable to expect customers to tolerate such treatment, and it is imperative that Caretime address these issues immediately.

    Absolutely Nothing! I have not one good thing to say about this company. I went to a state meeting and when we discussed EVV vendors Caretime was bought up multiple times by different agencies and none had anything positive to say!
    Cons:
    The unacceptable level of customer service provided by this company. The support system currently in place is grossly insufficient and reflects a complete disregard for the customers you serve.

    Caretime is very user friendly for Caregivers to clock in and out as well as documentation of visits to clients. It is easy to submit shifts for billing and payroll. The edit features are very easy to navigate if a mistake is made by a Caregiver. Customer Service is top notch!
    Cons:
    Caretime does not have a user-friendly communication tool. The initial Orientation of Caretime was confusing. There were a lot of bugs to fix in the beginning.
