Home Inspector presents every previous inspection data with full photos, typed notes, transcribed dictations, and item conditions. It offers report customization features, allowing them to create personalized reports to reinforce their brand and grow their business. Companies may manage one or more report layouts and save different styles by the customer, local authority, or report type.

Home Inspector lets property inspectors add a flagged item addendum or create a standalone report. The software automatically provides inspectors with a link to open PDF files after publishing their reports. Pros:

The software was easy to use and self explaniltory it got the job for what I used it for and I think it would be great for every man and woman out there. Good idea to do a software program.

Cons:

I think most of it is pretty good. There isn't much to pick on. It would be better to have clients see what to do.

Expensive, Unstable, and Poorly Supported – Extremely Disappointed

This has been a costly and extremely disappointing experience. We’ve invested significant time and money into a system that not only fails to deliver what was promised, but actively hinders our workflow. If you’re a professional surveyor or consultancy looking for reliable digital tools — I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Pros:

The initial concept sounded promising — a digital platform to streamline survey reporting, save time on site, and produce high-quality outputs. The sales process was handled confidently and came with verbal assurances from senior team members, including the [sensitive content hidden] , that the solution would be bespoke and tailored to our needs.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the reality has been the complete opposite. We paid £6,500 based on assurances of a customised solution tailored for Level 3 building surveys. What we received was a generic, one-size-fits-all platform riddled with bugs and major usability issues across both the mobile and web applications. Key issues include: Transcription/voice-to-text function stopped working entirely Changes to layout and tools with no notice or testing Rapid Text (RT) no longer functions as promised Hundreds of manual formatting corrections required per report Mobile app is unreliable and increasingly unusable on-site Web platform is clunky, inconsistent, and plagued by glitches Most frustratingly, the company’s support has been shockingly poor. Multiple emails and issue reports — including direct communication with the [sensitive content hidden] and sales lead — have gone unanswered for over six weeks. There has been no roadmap for resolution, no acknowledgement of the time we’ve lost, and no accountability.
