About Heartland Payroll+

Heartland Payroll is a cloud-based human resource (HR) management solution that helps small to large enterprises manage employee wages and streamline onboarding processes. The centralized platform comes with a timeclock, which enables employees to check-in/out using manual punches, proximity badges or biometrics.

Heartland Payroll lets businesses create work schedules to monitor late arrivals, early departures and unplanned absences. It allows users to post vacancies on multiple job boards, collect applications, conduct interviews and identify suitable candidates. Additionally, managers can track labor distribution and paid time off to generate performance reports, improving workflows across the organization.

Heartland Payroll helps employees fill and print 1094-C/1095-C forms to file income tax returns. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via email, phone and other online measures.

The best of the best, Heartland Payroll+ !

The best platform for businesses to manage payments and payrolls They helped us in a proper and professional way to assign the salaries And on point generations of bills and expenses. The best part about them is the seamless experience with them as they provide the best customer service and integration was excellent and extremely well.

Pros:

The thing i like the most about them is on time payments and Proper executions of payroll, impressive dashboards and reports. It has also unique interface which also keeps the data of inter organisation events such as birthdays , events etc . That is again one of the favourite aspect of mine.

Cons:

Nothing iam loving working with them, on time payments Proper executions.

Heartland Needs Training and Support

Not being able to evaluate the platform before using it, I found the product to be difficult to navigate. Employee management was not straightforward and even seemed counter-intuitive at times. I did not have any bugs or issues and believe for a payroll platform it could be good.

The package was the perfect size for a small business yet offered some advanced features. It was a pretty good value for the money.

Cons:

I was thrown into the product with no training and found the platform to lack ease of use. When I asked for help, I was provided a pamphlet not any training resources.

A good product for a small company or a starter to the electronic payroll processing world

It was fairly easy to set up and very easy to use. Our set up was just payroll, and it was a lot of manual processing due to they types of systems we were using at the time.

It was economic at the beginning. Very simple to use. It is a good product for a small company with less than 50 employees or if the company is just getting into the electronic payroll processing world.

Cons:

It became expensive considering we didn't add any additional features. It also wasn't as robust when we decided we wanted to be able to add the HR component.

They were starting to charge a lot more for their service and we were getting no added features. Failed to meet promised/expected functions

Excellent experience with Heartland Payroll+!

I love how easy the interface is to use. I also really appreciate Heartland's payroll support team. They are readily available and have always responded promptly to resolve any questions or issues. Very professional team. I would highly recommend it to all my friends and colleagues. It's been a great experience!

Cons:

I do not have any cons. There have been a few features that we wish Heartland Time had available. However, we have not had any issues with Heartland Payroll.

We liked the functionality of Heartland, wanted to have all systems in one and also liked the price.

Not terrible, but not great either...

Overall experience was that it was fine for the cost. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles when it comes to processing payroll. The representatives I spoke to were all cordial, respectful, and competent to varying degrees. It just seemed that perhaps Heartland was lacking in supervisory roles. Everyone I initially spoke to couldn't give me the answers I needed and always had to defer to someone higher up...that never would return with any answers. When I reached out again, I would always have to start at the beginning.

I don't know if this experience exists anymore, however I agreed to a 3 year Price Lock. I have under 10 employees, so it was very economical to say the least.

Cons:

Towards the end of the 3 year contract, I tried numerous times to contact a representative about my account and questions I had about going forward. I thought standard questions, basically would the costs change after the contract ended, would there be a new contract to sign, etc. It took me many emails back and forth to finally receive concrete answers. That really soured my experience with Heartland and after my contract ended I went forward with another payroll company

It was a bit trying, as what we felt were simple issues to resolve took many many phone calls to resolve.

Payroll platform was relatively easy to set-up and maintain.

Cons:

Customer support was not good. Often times it was difficult to get in touch with a support person and often, when you did, the issue took a significant amount of time to resolve.

The best Payroll service ,Heartland !!

My over all experience was been a great so far, they have been so supportive and good throughout the onboarding and as well as later Onwards too they were been working seamlessly with us without any issues.we are glad that we have chosen them over others And their services and features are just Amazing.

Heartland payroll offers automatic payment option

Heartland payroll offers a automatic payment option in making payments so the sfaffs wages are not delay if i am available or not, it just does it. it makes my work as a financial controller much more easier. the customer care service is also very commendable as they respond quite quickly

Heartland staff is very responsive and has helped us integrate with other vendors. Our sales rep, Michael, is very helpful. Any glitches are addressed and we have very few problems.

Cons:

I really don't have anything to add in the Cons section as Heartland's team has treated me well.

Recommendation from trusted partner; sales agent support. I ended up in a crisis situation as previous vendor folded. Heartland delivered and delivered on a very, very short timeline.
