    As I said previously, this software does so much more than we were looking for that each feature was like a bonus to us. We can keep track of sick time and identify sick time abuse or patterns more easily. It allows us to track how many overtime hours have been dedicated to a particular case. The software also has some features that we would hope to be able to use in the future, where officers can bid on a specific job posting.

    When we purchased this software it was intended to be used for the fair distribution of overtime. What we found out, was it did so much more. It is the only software we need to keep track of all schedules, leave requests, overtime, time banks, and even certifications. The software is very adaptable.
    Cons:
    Originally it did not have all the unique features that we needed for our overtime distribution agreement with the unions. InTime was able to work with us over time and incorporated these features into the program.

    Our agency was looking for something to take us out of the Stone Age. We were on excel sheets for scheduling, then another company (briefly, as they didn’t meet the demands of 24/7 scheduling) and then we found Intime. Customer support and education to get started with the program was exceptional and very patient. It was a fairly smooth process to transition into Intime. The ability to track everything within the schedule (hours worked, OT, training, etc) is terrific to help explain the needs of the department to outside partners.
    Cons:
    We are still working out the kinks of completing the scheduled month, closing the schedule with the gap time logged seemlessly without the need for first line supervisors to make adjustments, but we are hopeful to get this resolved.

    The other company was not able to fulfill the numerous shift options we off our people, and make appropriate patterns for a busy 24/7 operation.

    I have figured out a few things by trail and error.
    Cons:
    I can't edit the request time. I input inform and go back to update fields on the request format but have to remove the form and then create another new request. I would like to edit the field and update so I am only changing a couple of fields instead of sharing with other users.

    One of InTime’s greatest strengths is its flexibility. The platform adapts well to a wide range of scheduling models, allowing supervisors and administrators to easily accommodate shift rotations, overtime rules, time-off requests, and special assignments. This versatility helps reduce manual errors and ensures that staffing levels are consistently optimized.
    Cons:
    New schedulers or supervisors often find the system takes some time to get comfortable with.  The snapshot dashboard is in need of a retool.

    That I have to go home on Wednesday. Just kidding! The only question or concern I have is in regards to not being able to print out a daily schedule with the information we need. But from talking to [sensitive content hidden], it sounds like you have a solution for that.

    Of all of the third party applications i have helped implement, this is the most smooth and least troublesome.
    Cons:
    The integration with our tyler munis erp system was a dissatisfaction. To not be able to integrate with our payroll system created difficulty.

    The only thing I really don’t like is the fact that there is not a really good easy users manual. Or, if there is, I haven’t found it.

    Scheduling in general. Overtime/shift posting was made so much easier with InTime. It has given us the ability to manage our geographical hurdles with ease. Our dept is spread over a large area. Now everything can be done in one program.
    Cons:
    Wish it had a better asset management component. Our dept would love to have the ability to track sept assets. Ie vehicles and assign to members etc.
