Good recruitment tool

My overall experience with LinkedIn Recruiter is that it is a great system to use for sourcing professional candidates, and that you get resumes from all over the US and global

Pros:

I like that it is a good resource to get candidates because a lot of professional candidates apply there and you get a ton of resumes

Cons:

I wish there were more features to help sort through some of those resumes, but maybe I just was not familiar with how to use them because I got so many resumes. It was hard for me to get through them

Good, but could be better

good, however it can at times be quite laggy and the inmail system whilst refined recently still isn't the best.

Pros:

access to candidates no where else on the market, with options to inmail and speak to them directly and confidentially.

Cons:

it's clunky at times, quite slow and AI tool isn't worth using (yet). I find the inmail system useful for reaching the people i need but not very intuitive when it comes to finding messages.

Great but expensive

Overall the App is super useful for recruiters or for hiring managers. Job posting possibilities are also great. Though it definitely needs some more filters by job postings, otherwise companies are getting hundreds of irrelevant applications, even despite the questionaries in application forms.

Pros:

The App gives a lot of great possibilities to find the right candidates and to refine the search. Big amount of filters and boolean search brings a lot, if to use together.

Cons:

The tool is truly expensive. For big companies it makes some sense. But it's pretty much money for small companies. Ln could offer some special conditions for the companies, which capacities can not afford to pay the full functionality packages.

LinkedIn Recruiter - OK but not great

I have a good rep, but otherwise, customer service is a hassle. It's sometimes taken multiple requests to get an issue addressed.

Pros:

I mainly use LinkedIn Recruiter to source candidates and send outreach. It's ok in helping to source candidates. InMail outreach is easy.

Cons:

Over the years, LinkedIn Recruiter has changed features, especially around job posting. I wish they would go back to pay-per-job instead of job slots. The search features give limited results, especially for Company field.

Needed but Tough

Great in terms of helping us service our clients. However I think LinkedIn needs to pay attention to the small business owners too and understand there needs to be a break in helping them.

Pros:

This is extremely useful for the high use recruiter. This tool is best spent on someone who is proactively recruiting. If you have a position you have lots of responses for a job posting, maybe think twice.

Cons:

COST, and LinkedIn is tough. Once you sign up for all the services you are in it. It was hard to be flexible as we are a small business.

Easy and Accurate!

LinkedIn recruiter has been a part of my career for the past 7 years, day in and day out. without this tool, I would not have been as successful as I am at this time.

Pros:

The search function for finding the candidates who are the best fit for a specific role is extrememly easy to use allowing for a much more fluent training process.

Cons:

There isnt anything that stands out at this time. From sourcing to tracking reports it is all great. I would suggest some sort of AI intergration to make the platform that much better.

Finding the "Unicorn" Candidates!

Great! Very helpful customer service and many valuable interviews have come out of our subscription so far.

Pros:

Very knowledgeable account managers to assist with searching for the perfect "unicorn" candidates. My organization has been searching for Executive Chefs and General Managers of fine-dining restaurants which is a really unique space to recruit in. LinkedIn Recruiter has helped me narrow down candidates by cuisine, previous restaurants, and other important features. It was easy to learn and remains easy to maintain.

Cons:

The recruiter seats which allow you to do custom searches and reach out to candidates are the most expensive feature. In order to collaborate, you need everyone involved in recruitment to have a recruiter seat which was not in our budget.

The advanced search filters and massive talent pool stand out most—finding perfect-fit candidates is fast and precise. InMail responses feel more trusted too! Highly effective for proactive recruiting

Cons:

The biggest downside is the high cost—pricing feels steep for smaller teams or lower volume. Also, InMail credits run out fast, and some candidates ignore them anyway
