Nectar is easy to use, there is a wide array of gift cards and swag options for staff to choose from. You can access it from your phone or computer at anytime.

It is a great program to recognize staff and reward them. The staff can build up their points to get prizes or gift cards.

Cons:

I haven't really found anything that I dislike about Nectar. It is a great program and everyone should use it!

One of the things I appreciated most about Nectar was the great employee recognition. The company consistently made people feel valued, appreciated, and motivated through various programs and acknowledgments. Whether it was through formal awards, shout-outs in meetings, or small everyday gestures, the recognition culture was strong and sincere. This focus on appreciating employees not only boosted morale but also encouraged everyone to give their best. It created a positive and supportive work environment where achievements, big or small, were celebrated. Overall, the emphasis on recognition made working at Nectar both motivating and rewarding.

I didn’t experience any major issues while working with or using Nectar. Overall, my experience has been very positive. The company creates a supportive and motivating environment where employees feel valued and recognized for their contributions. Processes are smooth, and communication, for the most part, is clear and effective. I appreciated the focus on employee satisfaction and the efforts made to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Even on busy days, the team culture made challenges manageable and kept morale high. There were no significant drawbacks, making my overall experience with Nectar consistently enjoyable and rewarding.

Beneficial, but has its drawbacks

I like the monthly email reminders when my Nectar points are replenished get added to my account so that I know when I have more points to send out to other people.

Cons:

I do not like how money is removed from my typical paycheck to cover "taxes" and does not save my login such that I have to re-verify my computer every time I attempt to login. Additionally, the options I have to choose from are things I would not normally choose to buy. Thus, I do not like to spend money from my paycheck to cover taxes.

Invest in this software, your company culture will thank you!

Nectar has been an excellent upgrade to our original peer-to-peer recognition software which was really clunky and not user-friendly at all. Nectar has transformed how we thank our coworkers for a good job. Back when we were in the office, you could buy your coworker a coffee as a thank you but now in a remote environment, that subtle yet powerful company culture fascet is not only handled but compounded with Nectar.

Pros:

Nectar is one of the most engaging ways to do peer-to-peer recognition of great work or gratitude. In remote work environments, it's sometimes hard to show gratitude. Nectar makes this easy by not only providing a public forum for acknowledement but also monetary compensation for going above and beyond.

Cons:

Nothing, nectar is excellent! Sometimes, the runtime is a bit slow and it uses a fair bit of RAM when opened in Chrome.

Reasons for switching to Nectar

Salesforce wasn't built for something like this and other software that wasn't tailor-made for this purpose is clunky and hard to administor.

Great rewards program that really boosts morale!

It's been a blast. I've paid my electric bill a bunch of times with prepaid Visa and Mastercards, and I've given myself lots of free mochas at Starbucks! In addition, I've been able to let my fellow coworkers know how much I appreciate their efforts when I need assistance from them.

I love the challenges that you can complete for additional nectar points like Dental hygiene, donating blood, and training a new hire. In addition they have lots of different gift cards and other merchandise that can be ordered with the company logo on it!

Cons:

I have never encountered any difficulties using Nectar so I don't really have anything for this question.

I'd like to redeem and get points from my coworkers or my managers that is really feature. so I also give my coworker points.

It is so easy to use! I had no issue using the platform once it was introduced to our company. I love how easily I can recognize coworkers in a meaningful, public manner.

Cons:

The only area that I feel could be improved is the employee search feature when giving out an award. If I am trying to give points to Jane Doe, it may or may not populate with @ja, @jane, @janedo, etc.

Pros:

I love how easy it is to use to quickly recognize coworkers. The variety of reimbursement options is fantastic as well. Love that you can personalize it with gifs, images and emojis as well!

Cons:

When looking for shout outs given or received by a specific person, it is tricky to search. I wish that feature was a little more user friendly. There are so many fantastic shout outs in our company that weeding through them can be tricky sometimes.
