JazzHR helps keep everything organized and in one place

4

We went from 500 to 1500 people quickly because to JazzHR's scalable design. We were able to create a streamlined and effective recruiting procedure with clear and well-defined workflows that aided each recruiter in doing their job more effectively. Facilitates consolidation of related materials.

Pros:
Platform that is simple to learn and use. Facilitates streamlined request and candidate tracking within your team. Works flawlessly with any other recruiting tools you may be using, whether they're internal or external. Setting up a workflow and aids to assist with the workflow might help reduce stress on your recruiting staff. Better candidate management, texting capabilities, and automations
Cons:
I'd like to make a standardized scoring sheet for use by all interviewees. I wish there was a way to search job boards for people who were similar to the applicants I liked best during interviews. Please make it possible to quickly revise an email before sending it to a potential employee.

Reasons for switching to JazzHR

It's designed to enable a streamlined process integration by interacting with a wide variety of other systems and offering a wide range of features. JazzHR also offers a simple, intuitive interface that can be quickly taught and picked up by new users. There is a reliable support staff there ready to answer questions and implement any feature requests you may have.

Excellent platform!

Each company that I've used JAZZHR with was great and they were very open to suggestions. They took user experience seriously and would add new items to our wishlist. Several months later, a new feature was rolled out to enhanse the experience. Very intuitive and the team is responsive.

Decent product, but the cancellation process is exhausting and dated

2

For a modern SaaS platform, this is not a customer-friendly experience. A simple in-app “cancel at end of current term” button, with clear messaging about data retention, would be far more transparent and respectful of customers’ time.

Pros:
Decent product, but the cancellation process is exhausting and dated. There is also redundancy of services and many international applicants one must weed through.
Cons:
We used JazzHR for a while and the product itself was fine. My low rating is entirely about their cancellation process, which feels unnecessarily difficult and very one-sided in favor of JazzHR. You cannot simply log in, click a button, and cancel. Instead, you have to request cancellation, wait for an email, explain why you want to leave, and then navigate an upsell to a “hibernation” plan just to preserve your data. On top of that, they point you to a 30-day notice requirement that only applies on a bill date, which in our case means we’re locked in and paying until January 22, 2026. Key issues from our experience: No self-service cancel option. Everything has to go through a representative via email. Friction-heavy process. Request to cancel → reply to a scripted email → choose between full cancel or a $19/month hibernation upsell → confirm you accept their data deletion policy, or your account “remains open” by default. Billing terms favor JazzHR, not the customer. The 30-day notice tied to a bill date means your “earliest cancel date” may be months away, even after you’ve clearly said you want to terminate. Default is continued billing. If you miss a step or don’t respond again, the account just stays open and you keep getting charged. For a modern SaaS platform, this is not a customer-friendly experience. A simple in-app “cancel at end of current term” button, with clear messaging about data retention, would be far more transparent and respectful of customers’ time. If you’re considering JazzHR, be aware that getting in is easy—but getting out is a process.

With the exception of not having the ability to put a job on hold and still view the candidates internally without looking each candidate up individually, the program is easy to follow and keeps everyone on track.

Pros:
I appreciate the candidate tracking, user interface and the ability to collaborate with both our HR Team along with the hiring managers. Everyone can see where a candidate is in the process.
Cons:
The only thing I have run across is that it does not have the ability to put a job on hold and still view the candidates internally without looking each candidate up individually.

A Needed change

Jass HR isn’t flashy, but that’s what I liked about it. It quietly handled the everyday stuff without making me click a million times or lose my mind over tiny details. Simple, reliable, and it made my life easier. Can’t ask for much more.

Pros:
Honestly, Jass HR surprised me—in a good way. It’s super simple to use, and I never felt lost while navigating it. Whether I was applying for leave or updating employee info, it didn’t feel like a task. Everything was where I expected it to be, and it just worked. No overthinking needed.
Cons:
There were moments when it slowed down a bit, usually when a lot was happening at once. Also, I did find the payroll side of things a little clunky. It works, but it could be smoother.

Started good in 2020. Deteriorated over time. Terrible cancellation process.

I spent 5 years using their service. The service didn't improve, and the pricing more than doubled. And then they hit you in the face with extra fees to cancel and fees to keep your data. It's impossible to cancel online without going through someone.

Pros:
When I started in 2020, it was a great price. It was relatively easy to use and we were able to consolidate our applications in one place.
Cons:
Over time, the product got worse and the price went up. And no additional features were added. I think the PE company that bought them is essentially milking it.
