Best messaging software, must use!

I have been using Text Request for almost an year now, and the growth of my organization has risen to a great level just by applying different features of this software. Many customers don't pick up the call because of their work, but they love when we send them text messages, it helps save their time and ours too.

Pros:
Great messaging software around the globe. Has many features including payments and even adding scheduled messages to our customers. I would recommend all my friends to use this, and my colleagues have already started using this application.
Cons:
Everything about Text Request is top notch, there is nothing to be corrected or improved. This application has solved messaging problems for many organizations effectively.

Reasons for switching to Text Request

Zipwhip was the company that shut down and opened Text Request. There were some features missing in that software which were added to Text Request when it was released. This was a great leap that impacted our organization in a positive way, efficiently.

Pros:
Text Request is so easy to use. Everything you need is there. Templates, key words, notifications, multiple users, affordable, easy IT Support, sending photos/documents, able to quickly respond to clients, and send emojis!
Cons:
I wish it did not cut the character count in half just because I add one emoji to the message. That is really my biggest complaint. So not so bad lol

The pricing was more affordable compared to most but, they also had an ease of use and no contract.

Reasons for switching to Text Request

Zipwhip was shutting down. Text Request has been very similar to zipwhip except with more perks :)

We love the chrome extension, the payment capability and the support!
Cons:
We would love a way to track where our web leads are coming from through the web widget.

Close but not there yet.

It was short; we found that though the price point was good, it lacked a lot of features of comparable tools out there.

Why we use Text Request

Excellent experience so far. We haven't had to call for tech support at all. Very simple and easy to use interface. I highly recommend TR.

It allows us to send and receive texts to our business VOIP line rather than just using a cell phone number.
Cons:
No particular problems that we have experienced to date.

Zipwhip was going out of business or changing their platform and I googled other similar programs and found Text Request.

It was easy to set up and use. I like that I could choose the display name
Cons:
that i could not keep the view I wanted. If I went to a message then went back it was at a different screen. Also I only got an alert if the tab was opened.

Sharing across multiple users is very convenient! And customer service is top notch, they are very responsive.
Cons:
I don’t like that I can’t do group chats in the same way I can with a cell phone. Sometimes I need to text with customers or employees as a group so they can respond back and see each others’ responses. Unfortunately the group text functionality in Text Request just sends texts to each person in the group individually.

Being able to share a texting account with multiple people.

We can't believe we waited so long to get on board with a texting platform to help us to reach out to our clients! Lots of clients have relayed how much they LOVE that we/they can text instead of a phone call, or email.

We are a service provider, so we have to "call ahead" a lengthy list of clients everyday with usually the exact same message. The ability to have a template, enter the phone number/name, then hit send saves us so much time to focus on other tasks! Customers seem to be more receptive to respond to a text rather than a phone call or email.
Cons:
I wish there was a search function to find a specific word and not just a customer name/phone number. Some times I need to text a customer essentially the same response that I sent to someone else, and trying to remember which person I sent that message to is difficult. We are strong users of the "templates", but some responses aren't really needing to be a template.

Reasons for choosing Text Request

The platform was similar to Zipwhip. It offered a computer app, android/iphone app, and browser use which matched our needs. When we previewed the program, it seemed like it would be easy to learn and to train our staff. The flexibility in monthly cost based on our actual usage is great. During our off-season, we are able to save some money by reducing our plan.

Reasons for switching to Text Request

Zipwhip was discontinuing their platform so we had to find something else. There was NO way we wouldn't carry on with having texting as an communication method for our business. The office staff is able to be more efficient, and saves us time to focus on other things.

The ding that reminds you of a text - need a way to turn this off. Also, text not showing up or out of order.
