Gravio is an Edge IoT platform designed to help businesses connect physical devices to software through IoT, Edge computing and AI tech.

Gravio supports Zigbee, Bluetooth, Wifi, ONVIF, MQTT and HTTP protocols and has a very easy to use interface. Gravio runs on the edge and combines software sensors such as camera-AI combinations with hardware sensors such as thermometers, motion detectors, PIR sensors etc.

Gravio is made by Asteria, a publicly listed company on the main Tokyo Stock Exchange founded in 1998. Asteria's flagship product is the application integration platform Asteria Warp.

Pros:

I love how open it is, if you can think of it, I'm sure you can figure out a way of doing it.

Cons:

Some improvements around the UI of Gravio studio would be great, there is a lot of reliance on icons that don't always marry up with their intent. Support documentation is great, it got me out of sticky situations frequently but there is always room for improvement. Having said that it is head and shoulders above other software and applications I've used int he past
