Pros:

Tweetdeck made Twiter easier for our business. We appreciated that it allowed us to track certain trends and conversations with ease, and allowed us to schedule posts to be 'ever present' without actually being on the site all day. This allowed us to stay engaged.

Cons:

Some of the drag and drop experience of columns can be clunky. Additionally, its difficult to create functional threaded tweets..

Why I Use TweetDeck Instead of Twitter

Overall I've had a positive experience with TweetDeck. I've been using it for years and don't plan to change it anytime soon. It's a simple alternative with easy to use features and an organized layout.

Pros:

What I like most about Tweetdeck is its layout and multi-account feature. I started using TweetDeck years ago when Twitter only allowed one account and I've never switched back. The feed is split by columns, allowing each account to have its own column or for specific items such as showing likes, mentions, or hashtags. It also allows you to customize minimal options, in a good way, as it keeps things easy and simple.

Cons:

The least thing I like about this is the built-in video player. Every once in a while I'll click play on a video only for it to automatically end in a split second. After a refresh or two, or opening a link if there is one in the tweet, it will play normally. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does it's more annoying and inconvenient than anything else since it's an easy fix.

I initially made the switch because Twitter didn't have multi-accounts as a feature.

The Only Way to View Twitter

I've used this company in its various incarnations over the past decade+ and I've loved it every step of the way. It's the only way I feel like I can effectively use Twitter to its best capacity.

The browser-based Tweetdeck is speedy and effective in handling multiple Twitter accounts. I like that there are safety features built in for those of us who use it for client accounts—the extra click to check a box has often meant the difference between an embarrassing client situation.

Cons:

The multiple streams is hard for some to get used to who have not used a Twitter client before—another freelancer was confused by the setup, but the learning curve is almost non-existent, so that confusion passed quickly.

Reasons for switching to X Pro

Hootsuite just did not offer enough of a different experience from Tweetdeck to justify the cost (paid vs free, in this case).

TweetDeck shares information about the audience that you are engaging . I love to schedule tweets for later within the app, but the #1 feature of the app is that Twitter Inc. bought it and is now part of the same company as the social network.

Cons:

It doesn't keeps the analytics of an individual tweet, which is really helpful for us.

Reasons for choosing X Pro

We choose TweetDeck because is a native app from the same company. No API's involving third-party companies. We are not comfortable with that.

What's great about TweetDeck is it gives you all the advanced features for Twitter in a slick and intuitive interface. This includes things like scheduling tweets, multiple accounts, custom filters and searches, etc. And since it's from Twitter directly, there's no extra syncing or permissions needed- it all just works out of the browser.

Cons:

Things can get a bit crowded in TweetDeck- some more customization options might help like this- like text color, link color, etc (beyond the dark mode/light mode)

Higly-efficient tweet scheduler for personal or business use

We came across TweetDeck after trying out many different options. The scheduling here is much better and simpler. There, however, need more features to make it more useful.

We love TweetDeck because it keeps our Twitter activity organized and easy to access. Our company schedules tweets and then later we can analyze the response to them.

Cons:

There is a lot going on with the main page, especially when managing multiple accounts. It can seem a bit cluttered at times.

Twitter's Dashboard app is now defunct so we we switched to TweetDeck.

I was able to sit back and let my Twitter integrated self into a next level account . Are use tweet that to automate my post and followers so that I can further net worth and respond without actually being around. When I first started using this service I think I was 8000 followers by the time I ended it I was at 24,000. This service is also free.

Cons:

What I like lease is that this service didn’t last as long as I thought it would and it started to decline and succession by the time many more abs came out.
