About ChiroHD

ChiroHD is a cloud-based electronic medical record (EMR) solution, which helps chiropractors streamline processes related to bulk scheduling, appointment management, reporting, conversion tracking and more. Managers can audit accounts, submit insurance and send automated text reminders to patients.

ChiroHD allows professionals to track insurance payments and manage scheduling operations on a drag-and-drop interface. Chiropractors can add locations, handle patient check-in and view appointments or visits on a calendar. Additionally, managers can access subjective, objective, assessment and plan (SOAP) notes on a unified platform.

ChiroHD provides mobile applications for Android and iOS devices, enabling patients to view appointment details, X-rays and more. The product is available on monthly subscriptions after one-time set up charges and support is extended via phone, email and other online measures.

Best on the market!

Absolutely wonderful! I recommend to everyone I know! It’s the most all in one / user friendly software on the market. And their app is so easy for patients to use!

We absolutely love this software. I have used many others - chirotouch, platinum, Jane, etc and nothing compares to ChiroHD! It’s so easy to use and easy to schedule! I love that the texting is build right in!

Cons:

The email integrations. I wish they were more advanced. And I would love for the GHL integration to come out soon! We are excited for that!

Best EHR system I've used yet

Overall, ChiroHD is one of the best EHR systems I've ever used. I absolutely love the ease of the texting option, love that we can charge people directly through Fortis on the system and I love being able to see everything for billing.

Pros:

What I love most about ChiroHD is the texting option and overall ease of use. It is a very smart system and I think there are a lot of useful and good things in place that make this system easy to use and work with. For the most part, the reports we can pull are usually very beneficial and important to our practice.

Cons:

What I like least about ChiroHD are the constant updates. I guess it is good to have the updates for the system, but sometimes when they do them, they're messing up other things or making other things slower than normal. I also don't like that we don't have any option to bill through the system directly. I also don't like that you can't pull certain specific reports.

Reasons for switching to ChiroHD

The Eclipse system was a dinosaur and the worst EHR system I've ever seen.

Good potential, poor execution for EHR

Overall we are not pleased with our experience. We switched for certain functions that don’t actually work the way they described and the customer support had been horrible

We like that chiroHD has a careplan tracker available to easily view where patients are in care and when they are due for re-exam. I also like the two way texting system within the EHR

Cons:

The customer support is some of the worst I have ever seen. The set up was a terrible experience and any time we have reached out for support since, it takes days to get an answer via email. You can’t call and talk to anyone

The BEST chiropractic software!

Overall, we love the features and convenience of ChiroHD. They are very personable and send out representatives to the offices to see how the software is used on a daily basis firsthand. We feel heard when we ask for suggestions.

I like how dedicated they are to helping you find a solution to any issue. They also have amazing integrations to make all of our services and products fit seamlessly with the software.

Cons:

Sometimes it takes a while to hear back from support in chat or when they need to follow up via email.

Reasons for switching to ChiroHD

Required vendor changed for our franchise plus we needed a new up to date software system that is cloud based and had more of the features and capabilities that we were looking for. Vitalogics is who we switched from, but is wasn't an option. We also went from Heartland to Fortis for a seamless integration.

ChiroHD Best EHR out there

Very great! I love the very easy access and intuitiveness of all the features. The integration with other programs is also very helpful

Pros:

Very User friendly and can get ahold of them quicky if there are any issues. They walk you through all issues you present.

Cons:

Limited with families being able to share one app where they can schedule and cancel all the appointment. Bulk schedule there is no ability to rescheduled all appointment if the time or day changes. You have to delete all or go in day by day to cancel and change appointments. Better integration with go higher level so we can use all actions together.

Our move to cloud EHR was a good one.

Overall good. Support is generally quick to answer your questions, if they do have an answer.

Pros:

Cloud based, relatively intuitive design, can get to most things on the same page without having to open up multiple applications or windows. I like the integration with my x-ray software.

Cons:

Can be click heavy to get things done. SOAP macros are restrictive in what you can add/edit (can't format with bold, underline, etc.; won't auto-capitalize a word in the macro if it is at the beginning of a sentence, spacing can get wonky when making custom macros; adding diagnosis codes using macros is awful); seems to darken my x-ray images a bit when importing from my x-ray software

Features available were the closest to ticking all the boxes we require. I also appreciated the ability to try it out for free before making the decision to switch.

Reasons for switching to ChiroHD

wasn't cloud based, had to maintain a server, SQL license, arrange backups, etc. They were also increasing the price without any noticeable improvements to the software.

My overall experience with ChiroHD is great! Whenever I have a problem their team is very quick to respond and help guide me to a solution or teach me how to avoid that problem again.

My favorite part about ChiroHD is that the product is constantly being improved. It feels like every couple of months there is a game changing update that makes practice easier.

Cons:

Right now my only complaint with ChiroHD is that their patient app does not allow for family scheduling. I've been told though that this is something engineers are working on, so hopefully in the future it is functional I know I will almost instantly start using it for my patients.

None of these products really let me create care plans like how I wanted them. The interface was also unappealing, and for the investment I thought that ChiroHD not only met my needs but exceeded them.

User Friendly System

Switched over from another system and we love this one. Doesn't lag, very easy to figure out and the customer service is great whenever we do happen to have any issues or questions.

User friendly. And we really like that you are able to set alerts for patients. That helps us not to forget to give patients superbills and/or traction devices. And overall helps us communicate when there is more than one CA

Cons:

Can't change the size/color/bold/underline text in patient notes on their file. and text size is very small.

Not user friendly, slow system, and customer service didn't ever know what was going on or how to help.

User friendly, easy to navigate and the viewing of multiple offices. Billing is not too bad, will be better once truly integrated with Trizetto.

Cons:

We would like to see the ability to change ALL like appointments at one time when a patient decides to switch days or times.

ChiroHD as a tool for a non-chiropractic clinic

Our overall experience has been incredibly smooth and we can't imagine life without this tool now that we have it!

Pros:

I appreciate the personal care they take to help with anything I need. They have so many amazing tools that I could not find in other products, and we are not even a chiropractic clinic!

Cons:

It was a little tricky to get set up, but they heard my concerns, and things changed for the others getting started by the time I completed my onboarding.

There were so many more companies that we explored. This was ALL IN ONE! I would LOVE for it to talk to Square and then we could really have EVERYTHING in one place!
