About DoctorConnect

DoctorConnect is a cloud-based medical solution that helps health care professionals manage their daily operations and interactions with patients. Key features include automated appointment reminders, surveys, reputation management, patient messaging and more.

DoctorConnect allows users to send custom messages to individual patients or groups who meet a designated criteria. It provides users an appointment calendar that helps them in the scheduling process. A dashboard is also offered that allows users to manually confirm appointments, view and respond to incoming messages and filter patients by doctor or location.

The patient management tool allows users to input patients’ preferred communication type and send them messages in multiple languages via text, phone or email. Additionally, DoctorConnect offers no-show management functionality.

Services offered are billed monthly, and support is offered via phone, email, live chat and FAQs.

    I like that I can send out mass notifications to patients when a doctor needs to reschedule for the day. It saves me time from having to call each patient.
    Cons:
    So far so good. I have no complaints at this time for this software. Hopefully it will stay that way.

    Great product to be more efficient, reduce no-shows and improve communication.

    Excellent and we have been very happy with DoctorConnect and their product, service and support. For us it all started with [sensitive content hidden] who was our 1st point of contact and it was nice to have the same person for a contact for sales and support. It is nice to get what you are truly sold and not passed off between sales and support. [sensitive content hidden] is very pleasant and easy to work with and she is proud of the product she sells, which is obvious from working with her.

    Great product and very easy company to work with to get things setup and implemented. Our sales and support representative [sensitive content hidden] was amazing to work with. She is always very responsive and gets things addressed in a prompt manner. The DoctorConnect solution has greatly help reduce our no-show rate and made communicating with our patients much easier. We also like beaing able to use DoctorConnect for mass communication to our staff.
    Cons:
    We had a few challenges, when a number is shared by multiple family members/patient when they would have multiple appointments on the same day. This has been a challenge with other solutions as well.

    Contract is worthless

    When I went to cancel as we were changing software systems which had a "built-in" reminder system, I sent the 90 day notification AS PER OUR CONTRACT to cancel and was told it doesn't matter and we would be billed until the end of the contract. So why put a cancellation clause in the contract? Very unhappy with [SENSITIVE CONTENT], the customer service account representative. Would not recommend this system.

    it was okay. Lots of problems with confirmations as our patient demographic is older and not used to texts/emails. Had to leave more messages than it was worth making my staff do extra calling.

    What I like most about DoctorConnect is its ability to streamline and automate our communication with clients. The appointment reminders, confirmations, client mass texting, and follow-up messages and reputation management are all handled effortlessly, saving us time and significantly reducing our no-show rate.     I can’t speak for everyone’s experience with DoctorConnect or address everyone’s unique software needs, but I can share my own experience. Any negative feedback or concerns about DoctorConnect is not at all reflective of what we’ve encountered. We’ve had nothing but positive interactions with both the software and the support team. In fact, DoctorConnect has some of the best customer service we’ve ever experienced. Their team, particularly our account manager [sensitive content hidden] and IT support from [sensitive content hidden], has always been incredibly responsive and helpful. For us, DoctorConnect has been a reliable and valuable tool that has truly enhanced our practice.

    I demoed 10-15 other vendors. We chose DoctorConnect over other vendors because it offered the perfect combination of features, ease of use, pricing and exceptional customer support that we were looking for. Unlike other vendors, for the features our agency needs, they were more expensive for no reason or lacked the features we wanted in one software solution. There may have been more advanced features from other vendors, it just didn't justify the price hike.

    Epitomax is an EHR vendor we used at the time. This EHR lacked some of the critical advanced tools we were seeking after that we now have with DoctorConnect. We loved it so much that when we switched EHR's, it was a prerequisite to changing EHR's. DoctorConnect is here to stay.

    The feature our practice finds most useful is the ability to send forms to patients. This feature was particularly useful during COVID, and we still utilize it to this day. Depending on your EHR system, the forms get automatically uploaded to the patient's chart.
    Cons:
    The pricing is a bit high for the product, however the product is worth is due to the intuitive design and EHR integration. The price is not so worth it if it does not integrate with your EHR.

    Doctor Connect works with Netsmart reliably. The ability to reach out to clients via SMS is very helpful when rescheduling appointments. This software has given the clinics back valuable administrative assistant time.
    Cons:
    *No shows have to be manually entered in Doctor Connect. *The addition and removal of clinicians is manual. *Unable to run a report to see which clinicians are getting appointments sent out.
