About EZFacility

EZFacility is a cloud-based sports and fitness management solution that helps users track payments and automate scheduling. EZFacility caters to small to midsize clubs and multi-chain fitness centers. Key features include trainer and membership management, equipment tracking, fitness assessment, payment processing, and commission tracking.

EZFacility enables businesses to create periodic schedules for their trainers and instructors, define commission and pay rates for each trainer and provide individual logins to trainers. With its alert and reminder feature, both trainers and attendees get automated email and text reminders about upcoming sessions.

Billing and Service module of EZFacility allows users to generate trainers' payroll, process gym fees, print receipts and invoices, and more. Gym members are able to view class schedules, make bookings, and pay membership fees through a self-service portal.

EZFacility also offers mobile apps for Android and iOS devices, which members can use to book classes and track their workout progress in real-time. For technical help, users can submit support inquiries online or connect with the support team on the phone.

Pros:
Intuitive set up on the admin side yet user friendly on the front end.
Cons:
Sending out our onboarding email series has to be done manually. We haven't been able to find a place to do this or see what emails have been sent in the new EZF experience.

Reasons for choosing EZFacility

I had used Mindbody in another facility and was aware of occasional outages and limited functionality for a club that is bigger than a boutique studio. Zen Planner seemed more like a less expensive version of Mindbody.

Prior product fell short of meeting our needs on several fronts; billing, emailing, auto-renewals.

They are ok but beware of all you get an all the integration cost and fees and perks you need to add

It was ok in the beginning then they got really pushy to the end which is why we left - we merged to a much easier system which allowed our members to auto renew through an app and automaticity fix their membership - ez facility wanted to charge for an app as well - We were gateway and paying to many companies to do one thing so we moved to another much easier and seamless company gym masters who have been absolutely incredible to work with

We used this for 10 years its a pretty simple lay out and easy to input data into each membership with flexible ways to change memberships if needed
Cons:
Everything was ala cart - We continued to have increased prices even after being with them for over 10 years - they would adjust but you had to talk to them every year! - they do charge for everything you want extra even when you are a basic small facility like ourselves - We were needing to ingrate the door on top of a high monthly bill we already had with them for the little we did use and there was no way to adjust it - They wanted to charge me 200 extra a month to use authorize.net instead of their payment processing which is why we left - they also wanted to charge me 500 dollars for my client diet to merge to another software!

EZ FACILITY SOFTWARE RULES !

EZ Facility is like having my own private IT department that’s available ALL DAY LONG. I just can’t physically see my IT team but they always pick up with an incredible happy, upbeat demeanor with SOLUTIONS AND ANSWERS..... Always. They have NEVER said they didn’t understand something or didn’t know about something.

Can’t take the EZ FACILITY IT TEAM/STAFF out on weekends for drinks and dinner.

MINDBODY IT wasn’t as good. Could not get in touch with anyone unless they were emailed. Software was difficult to understand and grasp.

The best client management system I have ever used!

My overall experience has been excellent! The technical support could not be better - my contacts are [sensitive content hidden], and they could not be more professional and knowledgeable. They have made a big difference to the smooth running of our business! I would not hesitate to recommend EZ to any company looking for a client management system.

EZ is very straightforward - if you spend a bit of time learning your way around the system you can soon learn to do whatever you need! It is so reliable - it has never failed me - I have occasional issues with my online coaching app and even my banking app when it is closed for work or they are having problems, but never with EZ!
Cons:
I can't think of anything I don't like about EZ! It does everything we need!

They have what my company needs (e.i. online scheduling, online payments, App, notifications, etc.). Thjey are constantly looking for addition ideas to make things better for the customer.
Cons:
The software is extremely picky. I have to provide all my customers a list of things they need to do in order to get the software to work for them. They can't use safari, internet explore, microsoft edge...it has to be Chrome. Most new clients end up calling in asking me why they can't create an account or book a session; so then I have to run through this list with them. I have had people say this is too complicated. They really need to get the software setup to run regardless of who is using it. I NEED my customers to be able to just sign up when they visit my site...not call in asking me whats wrong with my site. I would prefer they put a halt to the extra "add on" service research availabe and focus on making the software work for everyone regardles of what browser or internet devise they are using.

Generally the system is very good and performs as advertised, but on one critical, very important feature it fails. That feature is price increases. Like all businesses price increases are a necessary part of the fitness membership business. EZ facility is extremely difficult and time consuming to increase monthly membership dues on existing members. When I called to ask the support staff why it was set up this way he said no one ever increases their rates. I knew then I was in trouble. From a development standpoint I don't know why it software can't be upgraded to just change a billing amount from x to y without completely rebuilding each contract. So frustrating. But if you plan on holding rates forever, a good system.

the ease of having groups and sub groups. The reports are awesome too and breakdown every penny coming in.
Cons:
the billing has a lot of steps, adding someone to a class when they haven't paid yet is difficult and their invoicing process could use some work.
