The sign-up, renewal, and event setup processes are seamless, and their support is reliably helpful. Our monthly newsletter distribution has become effortless. The ease of use for members and administrators

Cons:

Difficult to think of any cons. It would be nice if the Gallery could be like a shared folder, allowing administrators and (chosen) members to upload photos.

Reasons for choosing Member Jungle

Member Jungle was the overall better platform that was enthusiastic about making your tasks easier.

Reasons for switching to Member Jungle

Wild Apricot was becoming expensive and was a US company. Support was slow and not in the Australian Eastern Time Zone

Automated membership renewals Seamless payment gateway Ability to customize event registration and form design

Cons:

Inability to register multiple family members for an event or annual membership without having to log off and on for each member. We require a separate permission form for each member for each event. Given the above limitation, lack of an event option to restrict event ticket sales to 1 ticket per member. Cant use the event attendance reports where members purchase more than one ticket.

Superbly user friendly for people with low tech skills.

The Member Jungle platform and associated support made developing and maintaining our website achievable and relatively easy.

It is an affordable platform with great scope as a website builder capable of managing our events and member engagement. The back end is easy to navigate and use. The help sheets are invaluable and easy to follow. The training was excellent.

Cons:

I genuinely can't think of anything that was problematic.

It changed our organisation!

They are helpful, responsive and very open to suggestions. Their customer support is super! Creating our new website was made simple and cost effective. Updates are easy to make and if I need help with something they respond quickly.

The membership renewals and keeping track of our members. Ease of finding members and creating reports.

Cons:

I use events registrations alot and have made requests which they are considering for fine tuning. I would like a bit more streamlining in event data reports.

The other product was not working adequately. Switching to Membership Jungle totally changed our experience of managing our members.

The transfer over was assisted by the Member Jungle team who responded quickly to any queries and provided excellent coaching on how to run the site.

[SENSITIVE CONTENT] has recently moved to the Member Jungle platform replacing 3 separate systems and saving volunteer committee members many hours of time in running the club. We were up and running quickly - three months ahead of expected launch.

Cons:

All the club's needs currently met . I have made a couple of improvement suggestions that have been taken on board - MJ encourage feedback for future releases

The email campaign functionality, and the member registration functionality, including payment gateways, make this software very suitable for club administration. I also like the event registration functonality

Cons:

I think the blog/forum functionality should be available at all subscription levels, we are a small but growing club, and can not afford the upgrade to the next level until we have more members, however blog functionality is very important to clubs, we use facebook groups now to fill this gap. I would like to somewhere where the payment remittance advice can include what is being paid, to make reconciliation of payments easier

Using Member Jungle for our HOG group

We had an old spreadsheet based membership data system, that required about 5 different software programs to do what we needed it to. Now, it is all within the one system and is SO much quicker for me as a volunteer to administrate! The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, and showed us how to do things quickly. The staff are happy to help and very customer focussed.

This software is very easy to use and intuitive - it does what it says it will do! It is also easy for the end user.

Cons:

Figuring out the building blocks behind the website so that the right things went into the right places. However, once that was sorted, it is now super easy to use.

Helping our fishing club

Everything is so traceable. Our members love the app and due to the notifications our members are renewing well before their expiry dates. The Events Management is an added bonus so we can now manage all of our events through Member Jungle including payments. We wouldn't use anything else.

Pros:

So easy to use. We no longer have to deal with cash from our members. It goes straight to our bank account so it is much easier for reconciliation and auditing of funds. Communicating with our members is very easy and the app (particularly the new engagement features) is brilliant.

Cons:

Nothing really - it makes our job so easy.
