FrontStream’s fundraising software helps nonprofits and socially-responsible corporations raise and process more funds.

Panorama helps plan, create, execute and measure the successful of fundraising campaigns and charity events.

The interactive web interface helps nonprofits expand their donor base, manage event registration and donor communications. With prebuilt customized templates, users can create branded, personalized nonprofit page where they can tell a meaningful, personal story about their cause and create the awareness needed to raise funds. The software also includes a secure transaction engine that makes donating a seamless, hassle-free part of the process. Panorama creates a page with a unique web address that users can share with friends and family via email and social media.

In addition to free personal support for all their organizations, Panorama also provides reporting on all events and supporters, offering complete visibility into campaign success and donor relationships.

    Good software for an online auction

    We're using Panorama as an online auction at the end of the year and have been successful in achieving our goal.

    Bidding for Good is easy to setup with online auction items and the bidding aspect appears to be easy to use by our bidders so that is a big help.
    Cons:
    My Biggest complaint is that it's impossible to change an "Individual" donor to a "Company or Business" donor. I've asked repeatedly to technical support for this and it's clearly not a priority. I especially need a "Contact Name" for the Business donors so thank you letters can be sent out but this has not been added so this is a big issue for me. It's simply an issue of adding a contact field to that database table.

    Read this review and save yourself the headache!!!!

    My organization has been in the process of transitioning out of GiftWorks to a new platform because of the low quality and limitations this programs has. At the beginning of the conversion prosses GiftWorks supplied us with a back up file of our data. Now that we are completing our conversion to a new platform they are refusing to provide us with the backup file we need to complete our conversion. My department has sent dozens of emails and left dozens of voicemails all of which have been ignored. The only way we could actually talk to a person was by calling billing who was then able to convince Customer Support to call us. Wouldn't transfer me, wouldn't give me a direct line! Even then Customer Support was reluctant to talk to me and refused to supply us with the backup copy we needed of our data. Essentially we are risking losing 10+ years of data and they could care less. If you value your data at all I would NOT go with GiftWorks!

    My organizations has used this platform for 10+ years and it has been a nightmare the entire time! As we transitioned out of Giftworks we were only met by road blocks when trying to get a back up copy of our data!
    Cons:
    Customer Service is the Absolut worst!!! I have never been treated with so much disrespect! There is no direct line to contact anyone, and don't be surprised if your support ticket gets closed without a response!!!

    Used as a School Data Tracker

    Overall, Panorama works great for what we need it for: student data tracking. Students are easily able to go to the website and fill out surveys about their SEL growth and tell how they are feeling in both their home and school life. As a teacher, it allows us to see their attendance, their grades, if they are on track to pass the year, etc.

    We use Panorama at our school to track student data, absences, growth, and scores. It’s easy to click on a student name and see all the vital information I’m looking for.

    Never a good customer services experience

    When it works, good. But at the first sign of an issue I want to just quit rather than deal with inept customer support.

    Ability to schedule and conduct an online auction with a geographically dispersed team.
    Cons:
    Many things work well. However, when you have a problem, getting it resolved is likely going to be highly frustrating. No matter how much information I provide, it is as if they read the first 4 words and have bucketed and prioritized our problem. It generally takes several email exchanges to get them out of the original assessment and to actually addressing the problem. This is in spite of me trying carefully to be succinct as to the problem. Then the pace of resolving the problem can be very frustrating while our auction is live for the two week period. Personally, I would switch platforms. I have just resorted to telling people that they must ensure everything is working prior to the auction because the likelihood of getting a problem resolved in the auction timeframe is not likely.To me the company is trying to offer too many services and at least the auction category is appearing to be a non-money maker and receiving only passing attention if any.

    Improvements to the peer-to-peer event pages made the site appear much less dated. These should be expanded to simple donation forms and non P2P events.

    Frequent issue logging in, searching for a constituent was often difficult (can't search by email address for example, even though it's an available field), reporting not very customizable, can't manually push out receipts for monthly donors when they request them,

    Giftworks Cloud is Horrible

    Being able to have multiple users on at one time.
    Cons:
    The Smartlists for generating reports are absolutely horrible. I have been using Giftworks desktop for over 13 years. We don't even get close to using all of the functionality. However, we do use reports like generating how much money has come in for a particular fund. Giftworks Cloud CANNOT do this if the donor gave to more than one fund on their donations. Not only can it not do this, it doesn't even give you totals when the donor has one fund. Trust me, you DO NOT WANT to use this software. It is a total train wreck.

    Definitely a lot of options. Allows all the users you need.
    Cons:
    Really no way to manage all data. The ticketing, guest tracking, and general maintenance in this area is non-existent. It seems that those creating this software understood a lot about the data collection needed, but have never actually run an auction themselves.

    Unfortunate surprises when migrating to the cloud

    For anyone who has used Firstgiving event software, I would not recommend the GW cloud platform.

    The desktop version was intuitive, worked well for us for 10 years. Mailings, report functions worked well. Integration with FirstGiving for events was bumpy, but worked with GW tech support. The customer support staff - in the past and since the migration to the cloud format - have been responsive, even when they don't have good news to report.
    Cons:
    We discovered a month after the migration that the developers had brought over 4 years of past (and unwanted) data from FirstGiving events, and now we have over 200 duplicate records, and 200 duplicate payments that we're being told must be manually removed thru a process that will take days. As a small nonprofit, we don't have the manpower to resolve. Trying to shake a thank you letter out of this system is difficult and in no way intuitive, and the reporting function is buried in "smartlist" constructs, leaving us with many manual steps. The documentation is inadequate.

    Before being forced to upgrade to the cloud the software worked very well for our organization. We have been a customer for over 10 years.
    Cons:
    I can't print mailing labels for a standard Avery 5160. I was told in March it would be fixed by the end of April and it is now September and not fixed. Items were not transferred from Giftworks Anywhere correctly. The smartlists are a disaster and not helpful. I have entered new donors and only half the information is saved so I have to go back and enter it again. I can only edit one thing without it freezing up and I have to log out and back in after every edit. The "find a constituent" search area does not always show that the person is in the database, which has resulted in double entries. The notes tab is gone.
