We love PledgeIt!

From the very beginning, our experience with PledgeIt reps has been OUTSTANDING!! I have been very impressed that any product upgrades that have been suggested have always been heard, and many have been implemented, making the system even easier to use.

Pros:

The person to person tech support is the biggest plus to the PledgeIt system! We have never had a prolonged delay getting answers to questions. We also love the ease-of-use for both the constituents and for the organization. Easy to follow directions.

Cons:

Honestly, I can't think of a "con" for this platform. It fits our needs with all of our varous campaigns.

Customer service was only by work ticket...unless you paid (alot) to talk to a human. The program was also very cumbersome in terms of set up, report access, etc.

Pros:

As a fundraiser, my favorite aspect of pledge it is how easy it is to communicate with and cultivate participants and donors. As a participant, I love the way that pledge it tells a story!

Cons:

Honestly, I don't have any major complaints. There have been other people on our team who have used pledge it in the past and they have had trouble using a screen reader with the platform. But as I don't require that disability aid, I cannot speak to that issue.

We were struggling to hobble together a large fundraiser and one of the Pledge It staff members in a member of our organization so we were happy to learn about this product

Cons:

We would love it if your tool were more applicable to our use case, because we actually have teams at both levels, and wish it were possible to have team recreation at both levels.

Pledge It actually cares about what we are doing and wants to see us succeed. They understand who our organization is and who we support and are actually knowledgeable about our content. Their customer service is unmatched! You will not find folks with this level of responsiveness or knowledge anywhere else.

Cons:

I would have said the cost to use them, but with the customer service I have experienced so far, I am ok to pay a little extra to get their top notch service.

This was our first year using Pledge It for our annual Shamrock Splash polar plunge event, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The platform was incredibly user-friendly and easy to manage. Being able to track fundraising results across multiple locations was essential for our event, and Pledge It delivered seamlessly. It was also reassuring to know that their team was always available and responsive whenever we needed support.

Cons:

They almost made it too easy! Knowing what i know now I can focus on sponsorships and fundraising for next year because Pledge It will handle the fundraising site.

I absolutely love the website's easy user interface and sleek look. All of our families have raved about how much easier it is to use than our last website.

Cons:

We would love for Pledge It to have an Apple Pay option for donors and a way to connect to Facebook Fundraisers.

Pledge It saved the day!

Birdathon events have very specific requirements in a donation platform and not all peer-to-peer options allow you to do things like make a pledge per bird! Our old platform went out of business very close to our event and Pledge It helped get us up and running with a user-friendly and great looking site with less than 2 weeks notice!

Great customer support, easy to use, nice design/layout, and a great fit for birdathon events.

Cons:

Supporters are not able to make a pledge per team, only to individual participants. Users frustrated by the reminder emails they received (but they also weren't following the directions and could have entered the info and stopped receiving reminders...)

Reasons for choosing Pledge It

The Blackbaud option that would have integrated with out donor database was very expensive and would not have allowed us to customize for a birdathon. It would be great if we could integrate with NXT in the future to save data entry time.

Blue Sky went out of business without notice right before our event.

Effective and easy to use fundraising tool!

Great! The website looks great, and is really easy to create. Our fundraisers had no issues creating their pages and starting their fundraising, and each campaign as been a success.

Pros:

I love working with [sensitive content hidden] our Customer Success Manager. She's always available to help us use the platform so we can raise the most funds possible. She's created tutorials and videos for our fundraisers, and is responsive to feedback. She's been really hands on, and it's been so helpful to get started and learn the ropes.

Cons:

I wish it could be more dynamic with visuals - adding photo slide shows, multiple photos of various sizes, etc. We also received feedback that our donors did not like the "tip model," and preferred covering regular platform fees.

We liked not having a contract or additional fees on top of what our donors are paying - we have not paid to use Pledge It due to donors opting in to cover fees.

It was outdated and challenging for fundraisers to use
