ThankView is a cloud-based video making software that helps organizations create and share custom videos for events and awareness campaigns, product demos or providing updates to stakeholders. The platform enables users to design personalized landing pages with custom logos, colors and images to establish brand identity.

ThankView allows teams to record videos or upload pre-recorded videos, trim, cut or combine clips and add automatic captions to engage with the target audience. It offers a host of features such as themed overlay banners, licensed music, video outsourcing, pixels tracking, custom merge fields and more. Additionally, users can store videos in a centralized library and add folders and tags to organize video files.

ThankView supports integration with various third-party applications like Evertrue, Givebutter, Blackbaud and more. It is available on monthly subscriptions and support is provided via email, videos and an online help center.

Pros:

ThankView is super user friendly. We train students to use it in a matter of minutes! I love how easy it is to send out multiple PERSONALIZED videos in a short amount of time, as well as send out videos that "appear" personalized as well. We've been able to do so many great things with ThankView including thanking our donors, wishing them happy birthday, inviting them to events, and more.

Cons:

Honestly, we have so many ideas for how to use ThankView and just not enough time!

Power in Video Communications

I have used different tools over the last three years trying to find the right tool to communicate with our partners. Our largest partner has over 100 locations and are over 200 miles apart. We need something that was personalized to them but also provided a place where I could share additional resources and ThankView did that for us. I loved that I could schedule the emails to go out as I made them ahead of time. It's very easy to create lists and campaigns to send out each time. This year during a fundraising campaign, Thankview was used weekly to send updates and messages of encouragement. That personal connection helped us increase our fundraising by 38%. We also created an upload campaign that for the first time, had stores send us back vids of what they were up to that we shared.

Pros:

How easy it is to use and how I can see what impact I had with a campaign. Being able to ask someone outside my organization to record a message and then easily use that vid in a campaign that I sent out is a great feature and option. Like that is branded and that I can add links and a message under that vid that either restates that vid and/or give even more info. This year we used Thankview to communicate with 100 stores during a fundraising campaign and that personal connection helped us increase our fundraising by 38%.

Cons:

The only feature I think I missed is being able to add photos and create a slide show with those videos are sometimes I only get photos to share and I would love a way to share those photos.

Reasons for switching to ThankView

We didn't need a two-way communication platform as we thought, we need a product where we could share messages and communications about what was happening but more importantly, we wanted to share photos and vids and this product allowed us to do that easily.

The ability to use excel spreadsheets of constituent data is extremely helpful however, it would be nice to also be able to integrate with our database. The ability to request videos and combine multiple videos together is very easy.

Cons:

The inability to upload information for multiple individuals with the same email address within the same campaign.

I really like how easy it is to set up and l love the new create your own envelope and background feature.

Cons:

I don't like how I have to pay for more contacts, unlimited or a higher number with the base package would be preferred.

Pros:

College Athletics and Donor Engagement require personality, innovation, and creativity. Creating special, digital moments that are authentic and deeply personal matters when we target the proverbial bottom line. ThankView affords that type of communication, partnered with very helpful analytics. It delivers the best of both worlds.

Cons:

I really have very little to argue with the product - I only wish I more time to devote to the use of it. Actually I have one con --- it's TOO MUCH FUN and distracts me from my other responsibilities!

Helping us set a new bar for stewardship.

The onboarding was easy and we were able to start using the product almost immediately. Many members of our team are trained to use it and we've had great success with Video Requests to get content from other external stakeholders from our orgnization.

The ease of use for us to get a real-time, personalized message out to a donor. The responses we've gotten as a result are far beyond those with a traditional email thank you messages.

Cons:

Overall the editing process could be easier to use and offer more options for text animations, GIF support, and audio-only messages.

This product is super easy to use and has an incredibly robust set of features. I would say more than a small team can even use.

Cons:

Not much... easy to set up and use, very user-friendly. Can be a lengthy process to send videos with the amount of personalization available. The biggest concern is the reporting, where it can be hard to segment just the emails you want in a certain report as all videos are listed.

excellent. The platform is easy to use and to invite others to submit videos or reply to campaigns. The customer support, training and community is also excellent. I truly feel that the team behind ThankView wants us to use their product and to be successful
