Great Affordable Nutrition Software.

Pros:

I looked at several nutrition software companies. NutriAdmin was by far the most affordable with comparable features and functions to the more pricey options. It's customizable and the features for $29.99 a month are all functional. No surprise upgrades for necessary options.

Cons:

The time it takes to customize forms and input foods and recipes. It can be daunting, but not unlike most platforms.

Powerful customisation and detailed nutritional analysis - the best of the rest

The software is brilliant, I can't fault it. It has helped me get my nutrition business set up, organised, and helps me with client interaction. I also really like how much information there is when you make meal plans, and how you can even customise what nutritional information is shown. This has really helped me for clients with very specific health problems and needs. I'm still discovering the range of customisation which, once set up, is making me more efficient day-to-day. The customer service of the company itself is excellent, you do feel like you have a partner to help you through it. There are lots of videos to make initial set up easier as well. I considered about ten nutritional software programs and based on features whittled it down to three to try over several weeks, and the details and customisation in NutriAdmin far exceeded anything the competition had to offer. The other programs seemed to want to force you to their way of working and set up, whereas with this one, although you can use the defaults, there are multiple options to set it up your way. It doesn't force you to use their software for your website either, but rather provides you integrative tools including a booking widget so your branding stays yours. Basically I think it's brilliant! I spent so many hours comparing them all side by side (NutriAdmin, Nutrium, Foodzilla) and I'm really happy with my choice. I'd definitely recommend it to any nutrition professional.

Its flexibility - you can set it up exactly how you need it - and for its deep nutritional analysis when meal planning.

Cons:

Sometimes the interface appears a little basic so when I first used it I wasn't sure how it would measure up against the competition, however I've come to see it's more like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Some of the other software I tried was more glossy in appearance but under the hood the performance was disappointing.

Reasons for choosing NutriAdmin

Customisation - you can set it up your way to levels I haven't even completely discovered yet! The defaults are all straightforward and get you started, but over time I've found it more and more powerful. More detailed nutritional analysis More independent - you can choose in what aspects of your business you want to use the software and keep some independent, it doesn't force you into an all or nothing situation. You can use it for everything if you want to, you just don't have to.

Great software for new online nutritionist/ wellness coaches

This platform is very helpful as a new online health and wellness business owner and is quite affordable. My experience has been good and anytime I have an issue it is always resolved very quickly.

Pros:

The Telehealth option is very helpful for online client appointments, the available questionnaire templates are also fantastic, and the recipe creator, specifically the AI recipe creator is a great tool!

Cons:

I do not like that the telehealth video window cannot be opened in a separate tab or enlarged. The video window is very small in the portal and it makes it challenging for the client to see documents when I am sharing my screen with them. The meal plan creator is also a little challenging to navigate. It is hard to customize. But this may just be user error.

Overall good product. Some improvements needed.

I have had great experience with the support team and have mostly liked the product as a small business and sole trader. There is definitely room for improvement, but an overall good product.

Cons:

Often clunky to use. The Nutrition analysis software in particular is not user friendly and is not suited to Australian users.

Finally found a user friendly program for someone (me) that does not like computers!

The support from the NutriAdmin team was the deciding factor in me keeping NutriAdmin for my business. The team are genuinely patient, understanding and really want to help. Importantly-they are surprisingly prompt in their replies. I dont want to oversell this product, or give a false impression-but for me, i have found replies, in many cases-within minutes! And certainly within an hour on most occasions. I tried 2 other programs prior to Nutri Admin, and found i was waiting days for a reply to my questions due to time zones. Nutri Admin are not in my time zone, but i am not having an issue with fantastic customer support. I cant recommend this program enough- honestly

Cons:

That I could not have their support staff give me one-on-one tutorials :) It is totally understandable of course, they are a small team, and that small team is outstanding with supplying online support in a zippy, however a couple of hours, live would be the icing on the cake to this excellent, user friendly program.

Pros:

It is easy to use and practical. It is easy for me to upload my own recipes in one place and also being able to grant access to my clients to meal plans, questionnaires, etc through the Client Portal. This makes it a more professional system for both myself and my clients.

Cons:

The Meal Plan Generator seems like an amazing tool, which it is, but I feel it can be improved.

Pricing and necessity at the time. Was not needed.

Nutriadmin review by a dietitian

I absolutely love nutriadmin and can not imagine doing my work without it. It has decreased the amount of repetitive admin that I do for client tremenduously!

I find nutriadmin to be very userfriendly and I have been able to navigate on the website very easily from the start and it was also very easy to setup with my gmail and calenders. Once or twice I did need to contact support for help, and was assisted very fast, effiencient and friendly. What I like most about this software is that you can create a personal portal for every client and that I am able to personalize diet plans with my own recipes or import it from any website. I also love being able to add my own foods and recipes, since South African food products is what my clients want in their diet plans. I also like that nutriadmin combines with my email for clients, keeping them up to date with appointments made with the confirmation emails (that can be personalized - bonus) as well as personalized emails to changes made to appointsment and confirmation email in instances of cancellation. The feature where you can send a link to clients of available time slots to choose from is also very helpful.

Cons:

I feel a notification tab at the top of the home page would be helpful... when I log in it would be nice to see notifications of all bookings made by clients, instead of having to go back to my email to see the notification email and then go look within the client profile what appointment slot have been chosen. It would also be nice to have a chat with clients within the client portal, where you could quickly send a message to the client and receive a response. I didn't quite understand the trial period correctly (only one profile to test) and was surprised when I got invoiced before I even used the program much.

I didn't understand the trial period correctly and the debit order was taken before I could compare to other products so I decided to try it out anyways since I already paid for it and I was not disappointmented in the product and have never considered looking furher.

Nutriadmin is online ( I can access from any electronic device anywhere) and it is user friendly interface, compared to my previous program that was just on my one computer and text based interface,

Pros:

I am very new in my business and soon to launch my business ! I have checked many nutritional software sites - the others were missing major components that I needed! The templates, the nutritional database, meal planner, recipe database - my favourite! In depth questionnaires which you can customise to suit your needs. The client portal is such a good idea and a safe way to send and receive documents. I love the report where you can personalise it with your own logo as it looks very professional. It does take a little time to get used to- but [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] will help you! I would say make the most of the trial period and if you can just sign Up to basic until you are used to the software- unless you are super tech savvy- go for the package to suit you. It is the most advanced software in my opinion with everything you need. I do need to use video calling with clients as I will be mainly an online coach and NutriAdmin does not have this feature but fear not- you can simply use some well known video calling apps and do your consultation! It is still far better than other software websites out there. The deciding factor to use NutriAdmin was the recipe database! This feature will help me with time! Time = money. I want easy, quick and a professional service.

Cons:

The software design - maybe if it was a little more pleasing to the eye- I love colour and for me it’s important for it to feel wow! Maybe if we could personalise our own colours? I would love it. I have found adding widget to my website slightly difficult - although [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been super helpful! I wish it was just a lot easier to integrate the software with my website. I think an app would be excellent for use for clients.

Whilst nutrium looks much better aesthetically- they also have Telehealth feature included, they have a dedicated helpful staff available. They even have client app! Their meal planner was not easy to use, they don’t have a payment method for clients to pay. They do not have a recipe database! This was my main concern.

Resourceful Custom Client Health Planning System

Nutriadmin has been our go to for 5+ years for clients seeking meal plans. It is a great standalone program for nutritionists and health professionals. The export feature makes it easy for you to include it in your reporting. They have endless customizations. We hope to have future access to import and export into other programs that exist out there like InBody, or wearable data to be imported.

Pros:

This program can virtually custom how you present your program to clients. They use measures that you can choose to cater to any fitness company for BMR and meal plans. They also have a help database that covers almost all your questions. Their help team is also very quick and resourceful.

Cons:

It can be a little intimidating setting up your program at first, but what we have found is that a feature we may not know we needed and need later, is almost always available to add on or implement. Limited integrations with other health programs/api.

Great tool overall

Good so far! Very clean interface and ability to create client accounts. Streamlined although on the nutrition intake forms they are a little clunky and some of the food choices don't really make sense but this could be due to locational differences

Easy to use - very quick on meal plan creations

Cons:

grocery list is in grams but a lot of foods in the store don't have grams listed but rather oz so that can be a bit tiresome to factor. Also the grocery lists sometimes have repeat items versus just adding up a food item to one total. Some of the recipes are not quite accurate in places - either with ingredients or name of dish. Also wish there was a way to eliminate repeated recipes on mealplans.
